I'm sure someone mentioned it already but Derp Evil Within has a demo on Steam (sales must be bad for a Bethesderp game to offer a demo).  Didn't think much of it.  But if you think you'd like the illegitimate offspring of the crappy new Resident Evil games and Amnesia then it might be right up your alley.

Have you tried contacting some modders, such as those at the Nexus? It won't be pay work (likely), but at least you could have some experience and substance you could put on a resume and it's something tangible, so to speak, that paying outfits could reference.

The Crew PC specs are released, I'm not sure if they've been posted already so I'll spoiler that shit. I'm getting it on PS4 to play with friends.

Ubisoft has announced the minimum, recommended and optimal PC specifications for its open-world driving game The Crew, which is due out on 2nd December.

Same.  Although it's a great price.  I was in the last Alpha (and this one, too, I guess but can't be assed to install it just for a weekend of play) but didn't find it particularly great.  Found it less entertaining than L4D -- it's basically the party versus a tank with prettier graphics and some added abilities.

Tastes are different. It's not a bad game and maybe they'll add more interesting features to ramp up the action other than when you face the big monster. As of the prior Alpha (haven't installed this one) you ran around for a few minutes hoping to find the thing before it EVOLVES. If you did, you typically won. If you didn't, it probably stomps you. The characters have a few abilities but nothing amazing. Overall I think L4D is superior because it's a true team vs. team versus and you can pull off some neat combos with the infected.
