I've been struggling to find a viable insurance option for my collection as well. I have been using Allstate for my renter's insurance, but when I told them the approximate value of my game collection they flat out told me that it wouldn't be covered.
They tried looking into their collectibles rider as well but, after a couple days of looking in to it, they told me that it couldn't be used on games.
Needless to say, I'm in the market for a new insurer.
Vinny - out of curiosity, did you tell your insurance company the value of your collection? I've heard from a few collectors who were verbally told something similar by their insurance companies, but then when a claim was made the insurance company treated all of the vintage games like any other old tech (i.e. outdated and depreciated to the point they are virtually worthless like a VHS tape or stack of CDs).
