Speaking of those, I got my 7-day bonus today. Total is 1,491 which is just short of the 1,500 needed for Reigns. Maybe I'll just hoard my coins and hope they appreciate in value better than my Groupees BM14 coin has.

Well no Nier for me. Since maybe no more job for me. I used $20 of Amex card points toward Mass effect, wonder what happens to the points if I cancel the preorder

I have almost 100 points less than you. :/

The chronogg gods of randomness have not been kind to me.

I'm planning on saving up for Brigador. I'm sure I'll keep getting crappy random bonuses and it'll sell out before I get 5000 though.

I'm sure the next round of games will be good though!! And be stocked quickly after this round sells out!

Welcome to the club! Thought about buying a new case today while I was at it. Gonna have to redo all of the cable management now anyway. Won't do me much good if I'm living on the street, though. Oh well, people always tell me it's what's on the inside that counts.
 
Well my new (well Like New from AWD) modem came yesterday and my TMobile router came today (one day early, yah!).  Router looked new.  Hooked them up and did Speedtests and for the first time ever not only am I getting the speed I paid for, I'm getting a little faster at times and I'm getting it through wifi.  Thanks seasonalCAG Headpiece!

Found my USB Wifi adapter so might hook that up to my desktop and do away with the powerline adapter altogether.

Sorry to hear about your mobo failing. Just wanted to pass along that this case is currently quite popular on r/buildapcsales.

Not the prettiest but it still has a side window and comes with 3 fans. For $27 after rebate not too shabby.

 
Saw spintires on sale as the star deal yesterday and didn't bite but seeing it on sale on humble as daily deal any opinions worth it at all as single player or only as coop or not at all??

Will likely miss bronight tonight. Water heater broke today leaking water all into the garage. Was hoping the plumber would show up earlier, but he just got here and has to drive to his shop, pick up a new heater, and then come by and install it. Don't anticipate that'll get done by 10.

Mine should be arriving in around 7-10 years from Tanga... Some people in the comments on SD were saying they ordered one last time Tanga had it and still haven't received it.

Yeah, I read some of those comments. I know Tanga is a deal site and it's been around for years. My only experience was ordering some cheap ring from there. Took quite a while to get it, but it arrived as promised. Hope yours isn't one of the routers lost in the shuffle. It works great so far.

Thanks, guess I'll stick with my windowed Corsair 100R for now. Not that it really matters since I keep my case to the left.

i enjoy enjoyed assassin creed series Thu i did start to get burned out with the yearly rinse repeat X theme. am still looking forward to a new one to see what they try next, maybe been jaded with certain expectation is making it were you cannot enjoy things as much as the masses. it happens to me with highly praised books an movies that i thought were a bore an wonder why anyone enjoyed them.

I'm not saying it's impossible to enjoy assassin's creed, obviously there are lots of people that like it, I was just pointing out what I saw as the flaws. It also wasn't being jaded with expectations, otherwise I'd never enjoy any highly reviewed games. AC was never reviewed highly enough to really irrationally heighten expectations, anyway, it gets good reviews but nobody points to them as goty winners or all time great games or anything.

Thanks. Poor plumber was here until midnight trying to get it installed, but he wasn't quite able to get it done, so he'll be stopping by this morning to finish it. Turns out the main valve to the house water supply also needs replacement so he'll be doing that too. If it was summer it wouldn't be as big a deal, but it's been in the 20s and 30s the last few days so cold showers are out of the question.

 
Last night, we passed on A Valley Without Wind because Fox thought providing his family with water was more important than playing shitty games with us and only a few people were there and Spoder said the game's multiplayer no longer works.  Also, because the game sucks.  Instead, we played some BF1 which was an arduous journey for me that required an hour's worth of messing with things until Origin would accept the fact that I was online.  I won't bore you with the stories except that the last game had a random guy in our squad who sort of acted like he could hear us despite us being on Discord and would talk to us via BF1's chat but never respond to "Can you hear us?" but rather respond to Weiler's spoken orders.  It was pretty creepy but he was better than most randoms we get in our squad so rock on, GingrNinja whoever you are.  If you could hear us, I hope you enjoyed the unceasing flow of profanity from Bah and myself.

Speaking of profanity, tonight we're playing Bob Was Hungry which bills itself as a "challenging precision platformer" and test of skill so, if you want to learn a bunch of colorful new words this would be a great opportunity.

Uh, just went to BBY to pick up a 1080 Founders Edition for reasons...it rang up as a 1070 for $389 before tax. So that deal that I got a while ago is back again. Shhh

EDIT: Seems like someone put the wrong barcode on my 1080 box? weird

tremorbros, some easy coins - adgate tab, look for medicare insurance and home insurance offers, 44 and 73 coins each, they all have names like "medicare insurance branch v8"

click all of those, get a few hundred coins.  i entered a zipcode on the pages that popped up, not sure you even need to do that.

 
Played a couple hours of the ME:A trial.  Didn't run into any glitches.  NotShep's running animation is significantly smoother than Shepard's, but Bioware still sucks at facial animation.  Skipped the character creator, as the overwhelming consensus is it's terrible.  Playing as the default Scott, he seems fine.  Movement in the ship is a bit awkward, as was running around the Normandy/Citadel, but the combat and cover system is pretty slick.  Jetpacks are always awesome.

Game looks very nice, no noticeable frame drops with my i5/970 in either gameplay or cutscene.  Dropping into Habitat 7 (the first/tutorial planet) was beautiful.  Feels very much like hitting Eden Prime for the first time in the original trilogy.

Will try out the multiplayer later tonight when more locals are playing, don't want to waste my trial joining a bunch of aussies.

So far, it feels like Mass Effect.
