Yeah, I'm a Carolina fan, but c'mon...really? I think they gave up way too much and I just don't think he's THAT good. Good, but not great. Might still be better than Glennon, though.

49ers made out like bandits on that trade. And then of course the Jags took Fournette...because running backs are so valuable in today's NFL? That pick makes no sense to me.

Did five or seven resets (hold the x button on the system till the system shuts down and unplug the brick for a few seconds) tonight because sometimes the disc wouldn't eject and it didn't help. Even saw a youtube video saying uninstall the Blu-ray app, reset, reinstall, and that didn't help either. Every tine I put a 360 game in, the drive makes a whirrr/thunk noise then acts like no disc is inserted.

Crap. I assumed Dead Space 2 and 3 had also been added to the EA Access Vault and nope, they're simply available for digital purchase. Each game's $19,99 and the Severed DLC from DS2 seems to be missing (unless it's been bundled with the base game which I doubt since the Awakened DLC is there).

That only leaves Splinter Cell Blacklist, Arkham Origins and the first FF13 as one of the few big name AAA games from the 360 era not to have a digital version yet.

Try a regular DVD, there are different lasers for reading standard DVDs and Blu-rays. If normal DVDs won't play then I assume there's a hardware problem.

When you reset the system, did you unplug it for any length of time? All the times mine has acted up and needed a hard reset, unplugging has been recommended as well.

Hmm, hadn't heard of this before but it looks cool. Some of the hell(?) designs are giving me strong Doom vibes. Seems pretty spooky at the very least. Demonic/succubus boobs are always a plus too. I'll keep an eye on this one.

Visually it looks pretty damn good considering this is apparently a Kickstarter game with a tiny budget. The team is in Poland though, so that explains a bit. The Witcher has always had a lower budget than you would expect just because game development is cheaper in Poland.

Never thought to try a regular dvd. Correct, they don't work either, yet dvds that I burned myself do work...weird.

Don't know why a burned DVD would work, but if normal DVDs aren't working then it definitely sounds like the DVD laser is messed up. Hopefully it just needs to be cleaned? ...is that still a thing?

Maybe also try an audio CD, although I'm pretty sure that's an additional / separate laser compared to DVDs, but I'm not positive.

Thing is it must be a factory defect. Had this unit for a year now and till recently the only discs that I've ever put in it were FO4 & Handsome Collection. Always had a separate DVD player so never thought to try different discs in it. Guess it's time to try finding a replacement brick for my old fat white 360. Kind of afraid to put a dvd lens cleaner into the One too, don't want to mess it up any further.

Yep. I'm sure he was pissed to be the third quarterback picked but think it's a good fit. I like Deshaun a lot (obviously as a huge Clemson fan). But I was annoyed at his comment about it being a slap in the face if he didn't get picked first.

All these players get too high on themselves. Hopefully, he'll come down to reality in the NFL and not become a Cam Newton.

Ah, you'd never tried DVDs or 360 games until now, so you don't know if they ever worked or if something broke (software or hardware) recently? That sucks. Ironic, too, since those lasers get the least use given that 360 games are just a physical pass to download the game and nothing is read on disc.

Most of my 360 collection was digital, so never had any reason to put a 360 disc in till now. With the separate DVD player hooked up I never had any reason to put a dvd in the One either. Even now all the games I buy are digital, Dead Space 3 is the first 360 disc game I've bought in years. Sucks that I'm just finding this problem now, but oh well.
 
Straight on chaos at the end of the PIT WSH game, this Stanley Cup playoffs have been phenomenal so far. Rangers got robbed tonight too.

Yeah not watching the NFL draft but some of those results are curious.

all the quarterbacks this draft look mediocre to me. honestly my favorite is mahomes just because I think gunslingers are the most exciting to watch lol.

Also, Ryse Legendary Edition is $8.98 at Target.  Get the base game for free with Gold and then get all the DLC for $9 + tax. (just sell the disc or something)

If the console doesn't read an X1 disc I know you can download it from the marketplace because it usually recognizes the disc but can't read the whole thing to install it. I'd be surprised if you could do the same with a 360 game because of how the marketplace is set up but figured I'd mention it since it could be worth a try. Can be a problem if you have data restrictions though.

I believe multi disc games install the entire game from disc 1 and the second disc isn't needed unless it has DLC. If it does have dlc I know that using that disc will also install the full game and dlc (ex. Fallout 3 GOTY disc 2).
 
The Penguins are the class of the NHL. I hate the way seeding works now and they can't send the Caps home packing in conference finals, but once they end the Caps season they'll cruise through the Sens or the Rags.
 
Forza Horizon 3 has three new weekend challenges up. Nothing tricky this week and all easy, but a bit more time consuming. Getting into 3 Flag Rush matches is so boring.

Your team gave away 3 draft picks to move up and draft a QB with only one year starting, an 8-5 record in a shitty ACC, not a great throwing arm and, I feel, accuracy issues. Not good.

I thought that the kid from Clemson at least has an upside chance - at worst, he's a Kordell Stewart - but he could be a Cam Newton. The kid they drafted isn't even as good as a Cutler.

Haven't seen much about Outlast 2 on here or other sites. Felt like the first game was everywhere. I've only seen 2 reviews about 2nd game and I can't even read them so they don't influence mine.
 
Upscale the PSP ports of Legends 1 and 2 and localize them (they were JP only), FF Type-0 got away with it. Re-release the X collection. Separately or altogether, I don't care. Just gimme.
