I'm a bit surprised they allowed Mega Man 9 and 10 to become BC if this was in the works. I guess we can just expect to see ports of anything that's fairly easy to do at this point. MM 7 and 8 are SNES games, so maybe a Mega Man X trilogy or a bit more effort and a MMX collection, though 4-7 are PS1. X is in the new MvC as well so it could be a safe bet.

If they go into PS1 I hope we get a classic Resident Evil collection. It's been a while since the original RE1, 2, and 3 have been re-released. I think PS3 Classics was the last time.

The first game was everywhere because it launched for free with PS Plus. The sequel costs $30 so it's going to have less discussion.
 
Has no one else played the Prey demo? I like it but just feels like Bioshock in space. A LOT of similarities in gameplay. That isn't a bad thing but truly wish they had made a sequel to the original rather than this.

I'm sure it'll get amazing reviews just as Bioshock games do. Just a bit disappointing to me. Did make me jump a few times though!

I played it just now. It is basically BioDeuce ... or DeuceShock. The combat is BioShock and in-game email checking is Deus Ex. The soundtrack kicks ass. And I was incorrect - you can save your progress. Just doesn't carry to full game.

Given how fast Bethesda games drop, I will definitely wait until late summer or even Black Friday.

Dishonored 2, Doom, Fallout 4... all got significant discounts rather quickly.

A few weeks(Months?) ago phil spencer said something about getting more jrpgs to the xbone... I really hope that is true because xbone is seriously lacking jrpgs... (even though I know that sony has many exclusive contracts in that regard..)

Ah, even better then. I wonder if they're all just running in custom emulator or if they're native ports. I'm sure NES is emulated, SNES and PS1 should be just as easy to do this way. 9 and 10 are the only ones I see being recent enough for an actual port.

Preds are an absolute beast of a team, with solid defense, shot blocking, goaltending, a pretty good offense too and then you got some guy named Subban. :whistle2:

I like EDM and Rangers at the Stanley Cup positions though. Tough to pick a team, other than the Rangers haha (I usually route for Buffalo).

Yea I saw I may actually go I live in so cal so it's not really much of a commitment so if I don't like it I won't show up the next days lol. I feel like it's gonna be like Disneyland though cool stuff all around me but to do anything I have to stand in 3 hour lines lol. Maybe they have fast passes ;)

Edit: referring to vanilla e3 I didn't get into fanfest. I hear fanfest is dope.

I'm late to the party. So glad Dead Space 2 & 3 are backwards compatible. Dead Space, Gears of War, Bioshock and Mass Effect are some of my fav franchises to come out of last gen.

Speaking of ME, Andromeda is $32 at Best Buy next week. Contemplating if I should bite on that or wait for sub $20. CAG in me is always looking for a better deal

That Halo Wars 2 update is HUGE. My 4TB external can't take much more of this

Officially done with my first year of grad school as of 3pm today, and finally started Axiom Verge. I love it as much as I thought I would, if you like Metroid or retro modern game at all, get it.

Congrats on grad school and finding the time to play while in grad school. I got my masters degree in 2004, and the biggest obstacle for me in regards to getting in gameplay time was the girlfriend that I had at the time. Now, I have no girlfriend/wife and plenty of time to play. I'm probably going to die alone, but at least I won't have a backlog!

NOTE: We are also aware that sometimes the update download on Xbox One appears to be stuck at 0%. Based on my own personal experience and community feedback you have two options here:

1. Hard reset your console, re-launch the game and your download should begin right away. HOWEVER - this will almost certainly result in you having to download 27GB (entire game) rather than just the 10.1GB patch.

2. Wait it out. At work I did step 1 above on my console and it eventually worked out. At home I didn't want to download 27GB so instead I just let it wait. After 15-20 minutes the download did finally commence and complete.

First time in the 3yrs w/ the X1 I saw a girl with a 185 gamerscore and "reputation needs work" under her name. How does that happen? She seems to be a CODhead, if you legit play can enough people get mad and report you down to that status?

It takes a lot of downvotes to have be able to see that. With such a low gamerscore she might have been modding on 360 and was recently reset, or some other kind of cheating that lead to the reputation, like lag switching, on a new throwaway account.

I know people used to recruit every idiot they knew to report or downvote people if they got mad about something before, so maybe that happened, but with such a low gamerscore she likely was doing something shitty.

I had that 27 gig update too, figured it was glitch or something and was going to try to reinstall from my disc to save some bandwidth.

Just finished my second game of the year, Green Lantern Xbox 360. It was a really short game, almost 1000 gamerscore but I dont want to play through it again.

 
I think it comes as a link via your e-mail with the code built into the URL. You have to confirm you want to redeem it, so if you don't want to use it for the account you are currently logged into, just copy the code and use it for another account.

The last one I got said REDEEM BY JUNE 30, 2017 AND SPEND WITHIN 90 DAYS.

You have to stop buying trash just because it's cheap. The backlog will get way too deep that way and you'll waste time not playing good games that are also on your list.
