Does anyone know if Deadpool is worth it at $14.99 or should I wait for it to drop to $9.99? That's the lowest I've seen it.
100% NOT worth $15. I got it for $11 used and it's an absolutely average game with nothing really good about it. Frame rate drops are still present through the entire game(supposedly if you take your PS4 offline it stops this) and this is a port of a game from PS3/360 era.

The worst part of this game is the last level. Every shitty game trope is present - endless/overwhelming amount of enemies ending(this part of the level had to have taken 30+ minutes alone) with fighting all the bosses of the game and then finally facing the final boss.

Don't buy it and don't buy it. You're better off tracking down the Wolverine origins game for PS3.

Also for those interested, Dead Rising 4 finally releases for PS4 on December 5th. Comes with all the dlc released to date with additional costumes and weapons. Ive heard many mixed things about this game, so as a fan of the series ill wait until its $25 and below.

With backlogs so large, does anyone here ever really get to play the dlc?
True. I wasn't sure if there was something in the DLC that makes the base game more enjoyable but I just read the DLC are extra story content or so. I just bought it anyway, it's now in my backlog lol.

Rocket League has a double drop-rate weekend going on until Tuesday to get double the chance of drops post-game.

The NBA Flag pack for Rocket League is getting delisted on 9/28, so buy it soon before it is gone from the store.

Gonna buy Bloodborne. Is the DLC needed?
Not needed per se, but it is one of the best pieces of dlc ever made, contributes a lot to the story, has one of the best bosses and best areas in all of the souls series, and offers several new weapons that can be very fun to use throughout the game.

So no, not needed but if you like bloodborne you will more than likely want to pick up the dlc at some point.

It contains one of my favorite boss fights in any video game, so I would say yes... but maybe make sure you like bloodborne first.

Yeah what he said, haha.

I'm getting it for the Crucible, if nothing else. Every other competitive FPS bores me to tears but that Crucible, boy do I miss it. It was worth all of D1's PVE disappointment.

I don't know if you played the Beta but D2 Crucible feels different than D1's. Having dual primaries with shotguns, snipers, and fusion rifles moved to heavy ammo, combined with the slower charge rate of abilities and supers along with smaller teams means games are less of a clusterfuck most of the time. It felt a lot more like Halo minus the vehicles to me. (Bungie Halo, not modern.) Overall I like it a lot more, I jumped into a few games of D1 after the beta and having been away from a while, and it felt off.

Any thoughts on destiny 2? Thinking about pre ordering it but after destiny 1 I'm not sure lol.
Depends on what you did and didn't like about D1. If you're on the fence I'd wait a little while to see how much content is actually in the game, and how the overall changes feel have affected it.

Pretty much the only game I went all in on and preordered. The PvE and PvP are top notch for me. Big boss battles, fun matchmaking and loot loot loot.
Destiny 2 is the first game I've preordered since Mass Effect 3. I've gotten the feeling that Bungie has learned from the first title and that it's going to be pretty awesome, here's hoping it lives up to the hype!

ya i agree. i played it on ps3 & it was mediocre. if it wasn't deadpool i would of stopped playing it, but i chugged through to hear his dialogue.

the wolverine origins game is an excellent hidden gem, that game should of got the ps4 port treatment instead or a sequel. So much action & blood.

Is there a way of knowing if you own a game through PS+ when you don't have PS+ currently?

I'm worried in purchasing Fez/The Swapper/Bastion/Transistor and noticing I own them with PS+ already.

I know this is a complete shot in the dark, but has anyone bought a game digitally the same day its been released and got the preorder content for it? I have a 20% off coupon I want to use on Destiny 2, but I can't use it if I preorder the game. I'll be fine waiting for them to become available later, but I was just curious, is all.

Call of Duty: WWII PRIVATE BETA CODES :

RP8M-QFNH-DRTH

3FBM-MLNB-CCMP

I played this weekend & last, as it's only available Friday through Sunday. It's actually pretty good. The new War mode is cool & the maps they have up for Team Deathmatch are also pretty decent. The different guns / classes are cool too from what I've seen. Looks like a solid COD is on the way.

why you all preordering cut content game destiny 2. thanks for screwing over others and helping to make cut content as dlc standard in all games.

Still on the fence about Destiny 2 here at almost the 11th hour. Really should finish up Yakuza Kiwami and Everybody's Golf before Ys VIII and Original Sin 2 next week.

How's Yakuza? Been meaning to pick it up, but saw the steelbook edition seems overproduced so I decided to hold off for now.

About what you'd expect from a Yakuza game. I really hope they improve the combat someday especially against bosses though. Feels like you have to rely on cheap tactics to win instead of skill. There's less content than Yakuza 0 but that's not too big of a deal considering the lower price.

I've actually been enjoying the combat in the game quite a bit but it took a while to get there. They hide a lot of what I would call mandatory skills behind the upgrade tree and that is always frustrating. Like a big one I use a lot is the rush style parry. That one skill alone completely changed boss battles because it actually gives you the ability to create your own openings for combos with skillful play.

Some other skills feel similarly mandatory but that is the big one to me. I had such a crap time with bosses until I unlocked that, wish it was one of the first things I went for.

Yeah, I finally unlocked that skill but it wasn't until after I had a hell of a time with the Chapter 5 boss where it wouldn't have helped much anyway. I had the skill that allows you to parry a knife attack but the more you repeat a Heat action, the less damage it does to bosses plus it was useless for the final phase. I feel like parries against all types of attacks for each style should be some of the first things available in the skill tree. The combat just needs a better flow to it like in the Arkham games or even Shadow of Mordor.

I did, with Nioh. Bought it less than an hour after release, though, maybe less (between midnight & 1am local time).

Same here. I really liked how Destiny felt, and I expect the same, but it would be (more than likely) a single player game for me. So im waiting on reviews to see the kind of content in the main game.
Yeah, it would be mostly single-player for me as well since I don't know many others that are getting the game. I'll probably get my pre-order in with Best Buy to lock in the $10 bonus reward cert then maybe wait a few days before picking it up to see how it's received. Then again, if I pre-order I will most likely pick it up tomorrow since I have no patience. :D

Very tempted to grab Bloodborne again, but I know I’ll never get to it. Hoping for a good week of sales in an hour or so.. what time exactly does the store update today?
The current sales will end at 11am Eastern.
