Fun times in this thread last night. Between Nazi defense and free Michael Bay movies, I don't know which was the bigger disappointment.

EDIT - FYI, these won't show up in Vudu as UHD because Vudu doesn't have rights to that level of quality (yet).

Paramount and Lionsgate are not part of MA.

 
Those Transformers show up for me on vudus website but not the app on Xbox, weird.

I have never added a movie to vudu or uv before I didn’t even remember I made an account.

He won’t be back this year and will probably not be the same player next year but might be back to himself the year after, I doubt he’ll ever have the lift he has again either.

I think Paramount is and they did show up in MA, Vudu (HDX) and FandangoNow (oddly only SD). So there’s some issues there with the porting. But I don’t believe Vudu has UHD for the Transformers films yet. Still don’t get why only SD in FandangoNow.

Anyway, free is free. And the first Transformers movie wasn’t too horrible (can’t say the same for the others).
 
I am truly shocked that 343 is going to try and fix MCC this late it's life. The transition to One X makes it make a bit more sense, but I think this is the oldest first-party game that they announced support for. The fact that they actually had Bonnie Ross come out for this interview announcement says a lot to me too. Her actually admitting the handling was botched instead of just deflecting like the past two years is huge.

I think Ske7ch really must have continued to drive home just how pissed off the community was and continued to be, and how much this attitude was actually costing 343 by helping to cause them to shed long-time Halo fans. I don't have anything against their previous community guy Bravo, but I think he was in a different mentality all together due to his MLG player background. Ske7tch was around during the heyday of Halo with 3 and Reach, and Bungie back then was miles ahead of 343 now with communication.

I'm not really sure what the local server will mean for a LAN experience on Halo 5, but at least it's a good step. I don't see why you need to use a PC as a server if it doesn't need to be connected to Xbox Live to run the experience.

I'm not really sure what the local server will mean for a LAN experience on Halo 5, but at least it's a good step. I don't see why you need to use a PC as a server if it doesn't need to be connected to Xbox Live to run the experience.

Considering Microsoft doesn't seem to have many first party exclusives left, maybe they are trying to show how much they care about the few they have remaining. I'm sure it's also a goodwill gesture to help towards the eventual reception of Halo 6 and the future of the franchise. It doesn't hurt that they also need things to tout for uses of the Xbox One X. All that being said, I do feel like Microsoft has been trying to play catch up to it's own faulty start this entire generation (and definitely knows it) and this is just one more acknowledgment of that.

Won't this work like a spoke-hub distribution, a star network with the pc routing the LAN traffic as hub? That's my guess.

He's right, Paramount isn't on board the MA train (yet). You can tell because the MA logo isn't on the movies in Vudu. So for the time being they will only stay within the UV ecosystem which means they won't port over to Amazon/iTunes/YT.

As a side note, I'm digging how they changed the cover art for the first four movies. The fifth movie is a little different but not so bad either.

I was playing Halo 4 on MCC when I read the news last night. Must've been karma because I finally got the "Complete All Campaigns" achievements to pop.

Certainly not without its issues, but I still love MCC.

 
Damn it. I screwed up my South Park TFBW purchase yesterday and now I have a $5 BB certificate I have to use by 10/28. What should I add to the back log?

If MS is truly going for a backwards-compatible ecosystem for the truly next console gen, it makes sense they'd want the flagship franchise to be in full working order.

Got the last achievement in QUBE while waiting for south park to install last night. I don't know if it was my tv, the game or my xbox but did anyone notice when moving around the screen would get wavy? Like the character was moving too fast for it to register, even though they're pretty slow.

Lol, except he will be back before the playoffs. They are saying March/April return currently. Broken tibia and dislocated ankle. With today’s medicine (hgh) he’ll probably be better than he was before. Initially it looked like it was so bad he’d never play again. Players were all crying and shit, it was nuts

I guess the silver lining is that Tatum and Brown get the minutes they need to develop and Hayward will be back for the playoffs. Jaylen Brown is gonna end up as Kawhi 2.0

I noticed that, too. It seemed to happen when
things were falling apart in the QUBE and it all went to hell. I figured it was just a little detail to make the player feel like they were experiencing it instead of being a passive witness.

Unless you mean like input lag, in which case, character movement in relation to the controls always felt consistent to me.

And he won’t be better than before, anytime a joint is involved especially the ankle it’s more serious than what happened to Paul George and even he didn’t look right when he first came back.

Either way it will be Warriors/Cavs finals again so none of this matters either way.

He won’t what? Return this season? That’s a slim possibility, luckily we got you on the medical staff from your home. It’s hard to imagine because it looked so bad, but they are saying that because there is no ligament or tendon damage it will be a much faster recovery time than it could have otherwise been.

I do agree it will likely be a Cavs Warriors final again with the Warriors sweeping most likely (regardless of Hayward’s health). Celtics are probably still the 2nd best team in the East without Hayward but we will see

Also very glad we took Tatum over Fultz now

I don't know how to describe it. It wasn't input lag. It was like on an old tv when a VHS would get messed up or a channel wasn't clear, the image would have waves in it. I noticed it most during the time trials since it would cause me to mess up. It would only be for a second, but when I noticed it and intentionally made my character look around all crazy it would happen a bit longer. It could've been that there was so much going on in the level and I was trying to look around so fast it was having trouble loading. If you didn't notice it maybe it was something to do with my tv.

I’m still glad Sixers took Fultz they needed a guard they have enough in the front court, plus he’s who Sixers fans wanted.

And the constant whining about off topic posts is why I barely post on this site, it’s also why I decided against giving the stuff I won from the Forza promo away in here.

This is the only site I post on where people are constantly crying for mods.

That being said Hand of the Gods is basically pay to win but I’ll still check it out when they add achievements.
 
And back to games.
So on the fence to buy Witcher 3 or hold off for Assassins Creed Origins. I generally enjoyed A.C. series more, though the last two felt a little bit of same old, same old.

I find it sad that there is no middle ground in the communication. People immediately close their ears and judge and won't have a discussion. I've seen that we are better than this.
