Some good deals but I am resisting and finishing Quantum Break up so I can clear some room for Far Cry 5 which will dominate my game time for a solid month.  Also I have 10 hours of Burnout remaster trial starting this Friday via EA Access. 

Great price on Just Cause 3 XL edition! It was one of my favorite games this generation - I felt like Iron Man with that jet wing suit from the DLC!  It is not X1X enhanced but I imagine it will be much more playable now on that system (I would avoid it if you have OG X1).  I beat it on PS4 vanilla and it was tolerable (frame rate slow downs were minimal for me).  I liked it so much I am currently playing it again on Steam with an i7-2600 + GTX 1060 6GB and I am getting a solid 60FPS at 1440p High settings and the game looks great. 

 
Check your Junk Mail folder for the $25 from buying the Oscar films. That's where mine was.

I may be running into a Mad Max glitch. I've cleared all the camps, but the game says I have destroyed 75/77 insignia. That would suck if that prevented me from 100% the game.

On the other hand, FH3 glitched me in the good way. Gave me the achievement for completing all championships on Blizzard Mountain when I really had 5 or six left.

I have all of those and would strongly recommend jc3 the most out of all of them. It's glitchy but just a ton of fun.

I am the opposite. I have the DLC pass (bought when they announced the DLC pass price was going to go up in price because they were adding new DLC, I wont do that again.) and I want the base game. Still wondering if it will ever go lower.

Devil's Cartel is the latest game in the series, and the best in my opinion. The one that was on GWG was the first one, which doesn't hold up well. In the spirit of the game, you have to try to play it co-op - that's the best way to play it.

FYI, I just got the 3,000 credits on XBL Rewards in the movies & tv quest. So the 5 x 4.99 & $25 back promo also worked for that.

 
What is the deal with MS not following calendar months when it comes to letting us get our rewards? I took two vault gem withdrawals for $5 MS credits in February, so that twice per month limit should have reset the first of March right? When I try getting my last 250 gems for another $5, the first for this new month, the site tells me my monthly limit is used. And I have $5 sitting in my rewards account with no option for withdrawing that either, and no option for requesting an early withdrawl...So $10 sitting there unusable.

They've been smart about this, as $24 seems like a steal after the other "sales" and the super-high MSRP. But that's still a definite no for me. I can't see paying over $7-ish per game considering they didn't improve anything and the games, though fun, are old as shit.

I love that they added the bots. You can even get some of the Jason achievements using them, which is nice. That said, I wish they'd find a way to let you play counselor as a bot. I like playing counselor now and then but I don't want to have to strategize with randoms and deal with the crappy matchmaking to do it.

Overall I kinda found the game to be meh. There's not much in the way of story (which is fine) and the gameplay was just a bit tedious and underwhelming. I never felt like "wow, I'm loving this game" at any point. At that price it's probably still worth it for a few hours of entertainment but don't expect some award winner. FWIW, I won't be picking up the sequel.

PS: I played it solo as well, and it may be an entirely more entertaining experience co-op.

On xbox rewards

the $25 Visa Prepaid Reward Cards are back in stock for 1000 Gems

You can either have a virtual card or have them mail you a physical card.

I chose virtual and then used it on amazon to reload my gift card balance.

So if you really wanted to you could use it to  get $25 in xbox credit on amazon. You will make a extra $5 vs buying two 500 Gem $10 xbox credits on xbox rewards.

Hoping the crysis games being on sale is a hint they'll be BC soon. Own all 3.

Went to delete some recent BC titles and decided to check what I have:
I have about 127 titles that could go BC
45 games have "remastered" versions on X1
24 are games that already have BC titles in the series.
 
Had credit expiring & I already owned most of the stuff on sale. I looked at the deals last minute, while still 1 hour was left on last weeks & bought the battlefield 1 premium pass even though i never play mp. Sucks when they have 2+ weeks in a row where you don't like anything available that you don't have already. I was hoping for Edith Finch, AC Origins or Southpark. I put off getting those because I didn't have enough, then the MS rewards had the 5$ for 3500 points so i got a little more credit. Since I had $10 expiring on the 8th, I'll be short again if Southpark or AC Origins come up next week. Sucks.

Sleeping Dogs: DE was a GwG a while back. I played it through twice as well (back on 360 when the vanilla version was a GwG there), and enjoyed the heck out of it. And I’m not usually one for GTA style games (or GTA games for that matter), but this one was a blast. Tried the DLC briefly but didn’t get too far. One of them is a zombie fest which is kinda cool.
 
Rakuten has a promo code for $15 off $100 Xbox gift cards, SAVE15.

Beats Neweggs usual 10% sales, but not as good as cdkeys or nokeys sales if you trust them. I just picked up $150 from nokeys at 17% off. Combined with the $160 f2p rewards and the $200 I already had picked up 20% off, I was able to order an X1X to be delivered Friday. Not a terrible deal, buy I had wanted to hold out for a better sale on the console (it did include an extra controller I don't need).

Unfortunately, I had left my car parked overnight in an ungated lot with no cameras in Vancouver, BC. Some degenerate broke my rear window, stole my Xbox and 2 Easter baskets I was bringing to friends. I was pretty pissed til I thought about a bum scoring baskets full of snacks, fine chocolate, homemade soaps and lotions, a bottle of vodka, a little stuffed duckie, and an Xbox to pawn for meth money. Does delisted mean you can no longer purchase it or you can no longer download it?

For example, if I purchased Forza Horizon 1 and downloaded it before it was delisted. If I deleted it from my hard drive, can I still redownload it?

It means you can no longer purchase it digitally from the marketplace. If you already bought it, then you can re-download it whenever you want and as times as you want.

Thank you, I was worried I would have to never delete the games for space. In reality I should just get an external HD.
