I just picked up Transformers: Fall of Cybertron for $15, along with God of War Ascension, so that's more confirmation for GoW at that price, and another game to the list for anyone who's interested.

I checked out my local Wal-Mart yesterday and found Venetica & Binary Domain both marked down to $10, for anyone who might be interested. I haven't checked the RFD thread to see if they were already mentioned yet, but hopefully this helps someone who wants to play those if they can find them.

Does anyone know if EB does price adjustments on stuff when sale prices like this come along? I finally bit the bullet and bought New Vegas Ultimate Edition on the weekend (still sealed, thankfully), and was a little ticked off to see the price drop like this so soon after.

Managed to pick up copies of Alice and Dark Souls today, final copies too. I'd been waiting on price drops for the both of these, so definitely a huge thanks to dvdswapper for doing all of that price checking legwork.

Dammit. I was literally about to finish Rage tonight so that I could trade it in tomorrow since it was a qualifier on tivs. This always seems to happen to me when I'm trying to quickly finish a game to get rid of it.

I'm pretty sure that Canada was the most represented country (in terms of number of Canadians versus number of players from any other country) on each team that won the cup in that timespan. Most of the best players just happen to be Canadians I guess.

Shadows is well worth $29.99 IMO. I picked it up at launch and platinumed it within a week to a week and a half since I played it so much. If you like trippy, oddball games with loads of personality (or just Suda's games in general), then this one is a no brainer. And yeah, today's deal is...

The rate that new games drop in price these days is also a huge factor IMO as well. I used to buy games at launch a fair bit when I first got my PS3, but kept feeling 'burned' when I'd see the same game a month or 2 later for half of the original price, or sometimes less. New games just don't...

The assholes must have bumped it up recently so that they could "lower" it again for the sale. I actually just bought my copy at EB within the past few weeks. Can't say I'm surprised they'd pull that kind of thing again though.
