No. They launched on Direct2Drive, completely DRM free, the same day as Steam (where they only use the minimum mandatory Steam DRM). So, solely because their games aren't on GOG, even though they sell the games completely DRM-free elsewhere (and only the absolute minimum DRM where applicable)...

The new one could have been such a great game. It was phenomenally ambitious, but the developer in charge, a humble racing game studio, was not even remotely up to the task, and were in way over their heads. I remember some people saying that it collapsed under the weight of it's own ambition...

They're definitely good games, and they are very much the direct progenitor of the Resident Evil series. The core game is the same idea, but it's a bit older, a bit clunkier (yes, clunkier than Resident Evil), and maybe a little goofy and dated. It isn't guaranteed that all RE fans will like...

A lot of the fun of that game is getting accidentally killed by (and killing) your friends over and over again. It's okay in singleplayer, though. It's just that co-op takes it to a whole other level. Try the demo? I'm still not sure if that's even possible. I don't think people will be able to...

I don't have a single game (much less a piece of DLC) anywhere on my Steam account that uses limited-activation SecuROM (or any other limited-activation DRM), and I intend to keep it that way. Call me obsessive or idealistic or whatever, but that's my stance and I'm sticking to it. Gee, ya...

Pity that I still can't get Borderlands. I want it complete, but I still refuse to deal with SecuROM on the DLC. How insanely stupid. Yes.
