For those of you that wanted one of those cases that Nintendo gave out, but didn't want to fork out the $35 on ebay
Do a search for "NDSL-80"
The case is made by the same company (RDS Industries, aka ALS Industries). Comes packaged as an official Nintendo product. But there are minor...
Most likely what happened with your adapter, is that when you turn it one, it came up, and then promptly overloaded the converter. I'm sure good enough converters are out there, but they're not likely worth your time.
Check digikey.com or mouser.com to browse through some parts.
Reliability is the ONLY reason why I don't want a PSP. My PS2 got sent in twice because it stopped reading disks (bought 5 days before the price drop), and when I traded it in for a PSTwo, the PSTwo never read a single disk. Doesn't make me itch too much to pick up a portable which WILL take...
2002 Dodge Dakota.
Custom ordered to get the V8+manual option. Mid 15's in the 1/4, about 1500LBs payload, and less than $20k. Handles better than you'd expect. Already over 57,000 miles.
I disagree on the every node thing. That didn't work for any of us in the 40 minute long match we had. Get the node CLOSEST to the enemy base. That is the key.
One match we had:
2v2
40:17 long
Won by 2 seconds (3% base health left).
Our core was blown up as the game flashed the message that we...
This game is good. I played it over the weekend (don't ask my how, I won't say anything other than it was legal). The single player is excellent, the controls are good, and the multiplayer is mayhem at it's best. Definately worth picking up.
As far as Disk Read Errors go, I got one out of the box with those. Never read a single game. I had to drive 80 miles (round trip) to get another new one.
Onto the issue of the Multitaps:
The PS2 and PSTwo have different controller port spacing so the multitaps aren't cross compatible out of...
Great deals on good games. My best source for info on what I call "Shotgun Gaming". Buy a bunch of 80% games for $5-10 in hopes that one or two can catch your attention. Usually works out.
Cost me $5.26 to have it shipped to them.
Rarely does any warrentee work anywhere pay the shipping fees (from you to them) unless it was broken out of the box, and then it's even a maybe. At my work we have $250,000 machines, and I don't think we pay to have them shipped to us. But shipping...
Still miffed about the fact that it's almost 1 year to the day.
