Registers and downloads just fine on Mac. As noted, it's Steamplay, so once you register the key on Steam, you get both Windows and Mac versions automatically.

For Mac users, be aware that the Mac versions of Gish and Aquaria aren't actually available on Steam, so it will download the Windows versions and then get upset when you try to run them. Also, Penumbra: Overture is currently giving a "servers too busy" error when it tries to download. Lugaru...

No experience with the PC version, but from playing on the PS3, it's excellent. Far better than Mercs 2, and on a level with Mercs 1. One of the three games I've platinumed, and despite the fact that full completion means destroying an even 1000 freeplay targets, I never got bored.
