These are dead, right? or will they work if you can still refer someone? I checked my e-mail too late, but I'm going in tomorrow to probably buy a 2500k and a Z68 motherboard; it'd be useful. :/
I played a copy of the old turn-based games, and they were pretty fun: Wanzer customization, tactics, OMG DID I REALLY JUST MAKE THAT SHOT type of luck things, but that was years ago.
So then I hear about this mech gaming coming to the PC. With customizable parts! I've always wanted an...
But...but you don't have to wait for it to install! /s
Seriously though, buy it on a PC if you've got one from the past 2-3 years. I'm running it on an E8500 (3.8), a GTX460 and 4GB of RAM and it plays great on high.
In retrospect...I think I spent just as much time messing with mods in...
I think you nailed it on the head. If I were actually in Walmart and found this, I'd totally buy it. But instead? I'm here at home without any inclination (...did I say that right?) to go and leave to look for this.
On Titan Quest, I think the modding community released something that had the effect of no more grey/trash items dropping. I'm not sure how this was accomplished (or what things on game balance it touches, as I think enemies drop their equipped items), but it's something to look into...because...
Walked into the Toys R Us store on 360/290 and it was available there.
...that store seems really...uh, unkept (coming from having worked at another TrU and even went back after I quit).
I'm wondering on CoH. The base game was fun (never finished it, but damn did I play it for like 8 hours the first day), but I'm not sure if the expansions were are worth it.
Lol, a quick glance at the Metacritic scores: 93, 87, 70. xD
Anyone have first-hand experience?
Path of Exile is looking really good. Bastion is sorta close, but more story driven on centered more on building up a few items, rather than finding items and skilling up. (Still something to look into, though, since it's a good game anyway.)
The Steam backup function - as others have noted - is kinda...wonky.
And - also, as others have noted - I seem to find the best way to "backup" my games is to just copy the steamapps folder.
You can actually earn all of the Champions with points earned from simply *playing* games. Now, I've played quite a bit over the past three weeks (~30 hours?) and still probably can't buy everything listed here. Different skins for the champions cost real money, ranging from $3 to $20, in some...
Tempting, but I don't want to give up the XL for this same reason. Add to that the issues about the ~4 battery life (though I don't think I'll ever be away from a wall plug that long, it's just nice insurance to have) that it had at launch and possibly still so...I'll probably wait around some...
I did this *exact* thing. They guy that was from the guide company got the sale on the console versions, but I was waiting for the PC; so when it came on as a daily deal for Steam, you better believe I jumped on top of that. :D
Some of it? The plane, there's a neat multirocket launcher...it's cheap, right? I explained more of it over here. There are mods that make them free, but you can't get them free (in-game) without the DLC. I'd at least get the rocket-propelled parachute pack and the explosives; and the one...
Didn't set a budget, but happy where it fell:
Just Cause 2
Dragon Age: Origins - Ultimate Edition, Two Worlds II
Dragon Age: Origins - Ultimate Edition
Mount & Blade: With Fire & Sword, Frozen Synapse - Two Pack
Defense Grid Map Packs (noticed too late that I could get them with tickets)...
