This is a great way for their parent company to flake out on all those extended waranties they've been pushing on us all these years.

I held out on buying any games I wanted until there were only a few copies left. I picked up Super Mario 3D Land and NSMB2 for ~$21 each. Not amazing, but not bad for Nintendo stuff.

I've seen it for $30 at a few different places. I'd like to get a copy myself now that I own a Wii mini, which incidentally was $70 with Mario Kart at SDM a couple of weeks ago.

Just get the promo code and run the upgrade assistant from a PC that has an older version of windows. and then use the key that it gives you to do a clean install on your system. You should see the discount before it asks you for payment info.

Last year they had a limited edition blue Wii for substantially less than what the system normally sold for at the time. There are some some decent sales this year, but it's still disappointing.

I don't know what some of you are talking about with Windows 7 product keys and whatnot. I just got Windows 8 using this deal and my PC is several years old and running Vista. The only hitch is that the upgrade advisor downloaded the 32bit version(my copy of Vista is 32bit) so I had to torrent...

I checked out Dufferin Galleria, and there weren't any real clear-out prices on anything. The store was pretty much dead, too. If anything, there were fewer customers than usual. I forgot to ask when the final closing date would be. I'd like to check back closer to the actual closure date...

I would think the 16GB of internal memory would be plenty.

I was tempted by the blue Wii, but I'd rather have a black one with backwards compatibility. There were still at least a dozen left at the walmart in scarborough centre when i left around 6.

Blockbuster stores actually do really well in Canada, so they'll probably just get bought out and stay in business. I wouldn't expect much from them deal wise even if they do go under, if their 'clearance centres' are any indication.

There were also some 3 button Genesis controllers for $1 each. They are the same brand, and they look like 6 button pads, but they just have turbo buttons above the normal buttons. There were also various cables and RF units, a hand full of old PC games, and some other random stuff, but...
