Yesterday on my lunch break I picked up How To Train Your Dragon 2, MIB Wii, Jimmie Johnson Wii, Ice Age, Clash of the Titans, and Heroes of Europe, and traded them into Best Buy for ~double what I paid (not counting PUR coupons), so now I can pay off Super Mario Maker. Glad I didn't wait...

If I trade toward a pre-order to get a promo (I'm thinking 3DS XL toward the white PS4 bundle for the 50%), can I later cancel the preorder and keep the promo? Or will the refunded credit just be the base value? I DO want a PS4, but I have about $350 in Target credit from the triple promo.
