I've really enjoyed the Indie Packs, you really can't beat 5 games for $5, and it breaks up the regular gaming routines of FPS, RTS, and RPGs. I also participated in my first group buy for DOW: CR and it went flawlessly. Can't wait to see what else comes up over the next few days.

I tried to order BioShock 1 after reading your post, but I was denied. I get this error when checking out on the website (the Marketplace client has it back up to $19.99). "The price of one or more items in your cart has changed since it was added."

OK - the whole friend thing on Steam is new to me. I tried to friend a couple of guys on the L4D one (ShamanFX for my steam ID), do they then have to accept my request for me to send them a message about joining the group?

I saw that event earlier too, I'm a big fan. I might not be able to join that many of them, but I do appreciate that broadcast feature.

I don't think anyone answered your question. Yes, if you get Dawn of War II on Steam, it integrates with Games for Windows Live and the achievements, etc. are tied your Live ID/Gamertag. I just did it myself.
