I played the DVD's on a ps3 and the ps3 upscales the DVD's really well. It was almost HD except for combing and jagged edges it looked really good. The Original DVD masters were pretty pristine. why don' t you just wait until the avengers phase 2 complete boxset? that would kill all birds with one stone. it would be cheaper and you'd get the entire collection plus whatever suitcase cosmic cube thingie they are going to pack in with it. 

The avengers phase one set is now 100 bucks. Considering that cap america 1 3d and avengers 3d are going for 30+ each I think it's a good deal.

This series is awesome. If you've never seen this it's Like Star Trek the Next Generation but with Green lantern. Very similar storytelling styles. Sucks that Batman Beware has the same animators but the storytelling is terrible.
