To be fair, Alan Wake's ending wasn't really the ending of the game... Just the ending of Episode 6 with several more to go as DLC. But, yeah, it still sucked.
Pirates! is fantastic. For $5 it's a steal. It doesn't quite live up to the original, I don't think, but it's a solid open-ended romanticized version of piracy (think Errol Flynn) that is an absolute blast to play. Can't recommend it enough.
I'm the reverse. I like Civ, but Civ:Rev was a lot more fun for me. Less micromanagement, and quick-and-dirty gameplay to speed thing along. This is definitely based on different tastes, though. Both games are absolutely spectacular.
Batman is still $12.xx at Target. No reason to hold out for a Steam deal if you have a Target nearby that keeps a decent stock. All the Targets in my area still have a ton of them.
Yeah. $62 Beatles RB for me as well. I got the last one, aside from the one I sold to a mom shopping for something for her son. Kind of blew me away to see it drop like that so quickly.
Steam had this on sale last week for about ten bucks, as well as the newer one for $10 (normally $40). Both are absolutely STELLAR games, and I love them much more than Heroes of Might and Magic, thanks to more of an emphasis on RPG elements.
Wow! Clearly you've never read anything on the expansion packs. Swords alone is worth the price of admission. It's practically a whole new game of Civilization with the additions to gameplay. Not only that but it has Firaxis made mods that ARE whole new games, including a Master of Orion-style...
