Was just thinking, part of the problem could be solved by having an option to sort threads or be notified based on first-post-updated-at date.
That way the regular hot-topics don't keep bumping up to the top, but you won't miss out on any major updates to them.
Odd since many people complain that the gamepad screen has a slight lag especially with VC games (wireless video should be slower than wired video). Try to fiddle with your TV settings. HDTV's like to add extra filtering and smoothing which could cause more lag.. be sure to turn all that off

sorry, I was mistaken. I thought when you selected the Wii disc from the Wii U menu it booted straight into the game... but instead it sends you to the Wii menu where you have to select the Disc channel.
