LEGO Deals 3

Cool Star Destroyer … And is that the cancelled Overwatch 2 set? Pretty cool … still a shame that the lines failure basically guaranteed we’ll never get Warcraft or StarCraft LEGO sets.

Some news...
My two Walgreens sets came in, the best shipping ever for LEGO and it was done by Fedex. Picture perfect boxes.
  • The Endurance Ship [Like a Pirate ship] $260 Black Friday release.
  • ZELDA Tree 2500 pieces can be changed to look like Ocarina of Time or BotW. Classic Link, Young Link, BotW Link and BotW Zelda. New Shield mold and $300
  • LotR Fellbeast is a GWP with the Barad-Dur, pics soon as it releases June 1st.
  • 8 in 1 Bat Brickhead comes in July can only build one Batman at a time and only 325 pieces.
  • Space Diner GWP next week when you spend $100 on anything. Also get the two $5 polybags of City Space and Technic when you spend $50 on select themes.

I don't understand why LEGO doesn't just make a LotR theme again. We all know Castle is in demand. Make 2-3-4 sets a year that don't cost $550.

We get $20 Simba and $120-$150 Simba on the same day. Okay LEGO....

Also the Series 25 minifigures are on sale for $4 the price they should be anyways at LEGO.com. Pretty sure that price is new.

Space week has started at LEGO. If you spend $100 on anything you get Space dinner and if you spend $50 on Technic, City, Friends, Dreamzzz you get two polybags.

Lego.com out of 2 polybags but still have GWP. I get that the threshold was only $50 but crazy they'd run out of polybags so fast.

Yeah there is no excuse for running out of polybags. Like make more. My favorite is next week they will magically get more polybags but be out of the dinner.

This is from LEGO's Wicked Part 1 press release. Four minidoll sets in the fall.

Something Wicked Is Coming…

The ‘popular’ musical phenomenon, Wicked, becomes a two-part gravity-defying cinematic event with the first film arriving in theatres on November 27th and the second coming in Fall 2025. LEGO Group will introduce four sets inspired by the first film that will allow fans to delve deeper into some of the most iconic scenes straight out of Oz and explore core themes, characters, and songs from the upcoming film.

Why is 'popular' in quotes?

One of the newest Ideas was a minifigure dispensing machine, aka gumball machine. LEGO is holding a vote for what color classic Space figure to include and what Castle fraction.

No Forestmen?!?

Zelda is probably my favorite video game franchise, there’s no way in hell I’m spending $300 on that. That’s a $200 set at the max, they’ve lost their damn minds even more than usual.

Edit-that’s odd, I’m catching now that you can instead build Link’s house from Ocarina as an optional build without the extra stuff at the base of the tree. That clearly feels like the better build but they’re leading with the other? Might also account for those modular-like extensions on the base.

I like the lead build more but don't have $300 laying around for it. Prayers for other cheaper Zelda sets so I can get minifig Link!
It’ll happen, the Nintendo partnership really feels like the early days of Disney and even Star Wars partnership. Seems to be a bit slower to get going but I don’t doubt this will be the only time we’re ever gonna get a Link and Zelda minifig.

This set is a step in the right direction, we are getting closer to some Nintendo sets I might want. The Mario stuff is weird, although my youngest liked it so we own a few of the Mario sets. The animal crossing stuff I was hopeful for, but it turned out a little to weird looking for my taste too. I am really hoping we get a Hyrule Castle or something a little better in the future.

I like it but I don't $300 like it
another one of those where I will wait to see if there's every any kind of sale, discounts, clearance, etc. and if I miss out. no biggie
though with it being Zelda/Nintendo this could be one to put away and hold onto for a long time.
