I am officially closing this thread and will not be creating a KmartGamer 8.0 at least for now. I'll be taking another week off next week to gather some much needed perspective. I look forward to posting on CAG just as a regular gamer and actually get back to enjoying being a gamer...

Wait until I am not here at all, I'm the only one that even used savings coupons really in hard lines. Sux that it feels all the momentum we had going into this holiday has been so abruptly derailed.

It's the clearance cycles in gaming that has actually led to a severe decline in support for the gaming business at Kmart. I know you will never understand how a P&L works for a corporation or what my motivations were for being here but regardless your rudeness never ceases to surprise me.

I'll be making a decision very soon, hopefully everyone will still be cool with me posting just as a gamer looking for deals and not making them.

There is no back up unfortunately, I am not sure what may happen on 2012 with Kmartgamer at this time to be honest. I've lost some key supporters this year that helped me build this whole thing up......just me now.

Agreed. The B1G1 half off the middle of Nov. was kind of the crescendo for me this year.

Not buying as much as we did LY, which in turn causes additional MDF support to be less. Not an excuse, just letting you know what is driving it. I'm happy we were able to have such a good run these past two years, still trying to figure out how to get 2012 rolling.
