It's a matter of spending the actual money now as opposed to when it would be sent. Gotta keep an eye on the budget is all. I'm sure I'll get a second one, I'll just pretend to be indecisive for a couple more days.

I never quite understood that either. I've always pre-ordered online and besides Ni No Kuni I have never had any problems. I like the option to back out if it looks like it will end up dropping significantly in price. That's why I just pre-order all CE's online and cancel like 90% of them a week...

Well, it's definitely not "tacked on" like most people are just assuming. I have a feeling a lot of people are going to change their minds once they actually play it.

Did you play the beta? I thought it was pretty badass. Before I checked it out, I couldn't understand how they would be able to make GoW multiplayer cool. After I played I changed my mind. I'm really surprised at the reviews that say it sucks.

So, I had made a pre-order (for 29.99) with J&R and I never got an invoice, and the hold was still in my bank account. I called to check on it and was told they don't even know the date of the release. I was going to cancel the order, until I found out they were getting 24 copies. All together...

J & R has it up. I'd post the link but I guess I'm too noob to be allowed. They are a legit store around NYC, so I think it would probably be safe to pre-order from them.
