Runs on max settings at a consistent 30+fps (it's good enough) w/ an AMD 3700 64, 2 gigs ram, evga geforce 7600gt. So no, you don't need a high end system. Some systems just don't like the game.

Could be interesting to see if the game has any lasting effect on their culture.
