I COMPLETELY disagree...if you're on the fence read the Eurogamer review (who are also usually fairly harsh) that gave it an 8. You need to give the game some time and figuire out the way the drift works. This thing is an incredible combo of Ridge Racer (yes drifting plays a big role)...

Have to agree on Blood Drive. Picked it up and it is a ton of stupid fun. Twisted meets L4D is right on the money. The controls can indeed be a bit loose, but the weapons and personality more than make up for it.

I picked up the Avatar Starter Kit (2 pairs of the new glasses and the Avatar 3D Blu Ray) for $249 at Costco a few weeks ago. Considering that the glasses go for $130 each right now, it's a damn good deal.

Anyone that thinks 3D is a gimmick and they could "take it or leave it" has NOT played Avatar the Game in full 3D on a great 3D tv. I challenge you guys to experience this and tell me it's not the single coolest thing you've ever seen.

This game is phenomenal. Would have had no problem paying $60 for it. Probably the best racing game I've played in the last 5 years. Slick, silly ass fun.

Last few days for this. I totally disagree with some of the above comments. No problems with rubber banding (it keeps things exciting when you're setting off explosions, etc.). Online is an absolute blast. Best racing game in years. Oh, and btw, Blur is really good also. But SS is on...

Take it from someone who has both games and has played them online and off for hours. Blur is really good, but SS is INCREDIBLE.

After you've played both SS and Blur for a few hours you'll be glad it was SS. Although Blur is really good, SS is phenomenal.
