This game is shockingly resistant to bombing, and apparently has been selling rather well. Despite the save issue bullshut (which may hilariously be more a matter of programming laziness than a conspiracy against used sales), the game IS actually incredibly fun. If you couldn't give two shits...

I cancelled my amazon order and went with this. I hope I didn't screw the pooch and it takes forever to arrive, because I can see this dropping in price super quickly anyway.

This is absolutely the best of the remakes (4, 5 and 6), and arguably the best in the series in certain respects. If you were only going to play through one of them or have any affection for rpgs of this type, you should absolutely hop on this wagon.

So was it ever settled on whether these credit updates automatically apply to existing pre-orders? I saw the listing up the day after ME3 was "leaked" on the ea store, and laughed myself into pre-ordering it two months ago.

I love DS visual novels (i.e. any cing game or even something like Time Hollow), but this game is just awful in every way. Its a good price but you'll regret putting any time into it when you see what a mess it is.

Worth mentioning again that this is ARGUABLY the best in the series. If you have any interest in jrpgs on the DS and haven't played any in the series, go for this one.
