There may or may not be a price drop, but if there is one I wouldn't expect it to be more than $50.  Many retailers have been giving away a $50 gift card or game if you buy a Wii U, so I don't see value in waiting for a price drop this year.  I would say get it now or wait until sometime in 2014...
