    League of Legends anyone?

I generally go tanky support with him, but as others have said I might grab a Rod of Ages or Abyssal Scepter. His real strength is in disruption, not damage. Don't forget that you can use his anchor for mobility and escape, as well. Edit: If you want to do more damage and you're feeling saucy...

    League of Legends anyone?

The last Shaco I saw in game was pretty terrible. He didn't even attempt to jungle and instead went top. He tried to go toe to toe with me (Nautilus) multiple times, and generally failed to do much of anything. I've never played Shaco, but I always thought he was a real strong assassin type, not...

I'm taking my time going through normal and exploring everything, that way when I group at higher difficulties I don't really care if people are trying to zoom through the maps or not. Like Panzerfaust said, Normal is there just as a stepping stone to the real meat of the game.

I've pretty much stayed out of the AH except to sell items. Seems like it would sap some of the fun out of the game if I just kept buying optimal gear rather than looting it at random. I've died twice so far: once during an event that spawned the mobs all around me and I couldnt make any space...

If you log into Battle.net and look at the summary page you'll see your Battletag listed on the left side about midway in the page. If you log into Diablo 3 and click the profile bottom (bottom right, looks like a helm) you can also see it.

Money, basically. It adds up. Eventually when you have more cash you can get more picky. Edit: I'm neaded in now, Randombits#1668

I think we can all agree that the launch sales of Titan Quest were significantly less than those of Diablo 3. Hell, I'm not sure if the lifetime sales of Titan Quest compare to the launch day sales of Diablo 3. Also, I think Titan Quest's multiplayer component was set up differently than Diablo...

It's no different than WoW, really. WoW and LoL are always connected. Just about every popular FPS requires a connection once you move beyond the basic single player experience. I don't know anyone who keeps playing Modern Warfare for the single player campaign... I think the real problem is...

Definitely need to get a group going. Right now I'm taking it slow and enjoying it so my Demon Hunter is only level 14. Hopefully the awesomeness continues. For anyone who is wondering, I don't think any of these changes made from D2 to D3 significantly detract from the overall "Diablo" feel...

I've been logged on since before server maintenance. As long as I don't log off I'm good to go. Side note- Game is much more fun after killing the skeleton king. I even nearly died. I find it annoying that most of my skills don't work on my Demon Hunter unless I have a bow equipped even...

I went with Demon Hunter, but was otherwise thinking about a Wizard. The Demon Hunter has a great machinegun arrow skill. It's pretty cool. Back into the fray during my lunch, yay.

So far I'm feeling pretty happy about the game. I don't really miss the attribute point system at all, and I only feel a little weird about not putting points into my skills. Things die gloriously and loot is plentiful (and usually explodes from within some of the mobs woo!)

Honestly, my best guess is Blizzard doesn't want to overbuy capacity that in two or three days they won't need anymore. Setting up servers and whatnot probably isn't trivial, and they know that the customers will come back whether or not the game launches smoothly.

Yeah, I went in and clicked around for awhile laughing at all the threads. Oh well. I'm still feeling positive that I'll be able to play before 4 am. 8-)

Oh, I fully expected it so I'm not too annoyed. I'm sure things will be running much more smoothly soon enough. The initial onrush of players is massive, and even if planned for it's likely to cause serious issues. Yes, people may say Blizzard should have gotten everything ready better, but I...
