I could not get the 25OFF coupon to work with a preorder of Starcraft 2 (not the CE), it worked up until the purchase confirmation and it removed the discount. I was trying to grab Fallout 3 GOTY and Starcraft 2. the advertised 25DEAL didn't allow it either. :(

At least 25PRE still works, but I was really hoping to grab Starcraft 2 on the cheap
SC2 will not work with it. There's a few titles it wont.

PS tomorrows winning lotto numbers are: HA like I'm going to tell!
I see that people are discussing the previous 25OFF deal and I wanted to know if anyone has actually gotten their orders or if there have been some cancellations? It would seem to be one of those "too good to be true" situations on preorders.
I pre oredered SMG 2, RDR, and 3D Dot Hero and 3D Dot Hero has already shipped, so I dont see a reason the others wont. Plus when I asked about RDR being price matched with Walmarts and Amazons GC they gave me a $20 coupon on the spot.

Man, I just don't understand why I can't get a good deal. With the 25%, it took 15 bucks off each game, but my sales tax was 9 bucks so it averages out to $50 a game. Not a great savings IMO.

Hmmm with the 25off still working coupons, I am very tempted to do a few preorders and pick up tropico 3 and magna carta 2 (who's price just dropped to 32.99)

 • A hardcover graphic novel “All Roads”, that tells the story of some of the characters and events that lead up to Fallout: New Vegas. “All Roads” was written by Chris Avellone, the game’s creative director, and created in conjunction with Dark Horse Comics.
 • ‘The Making of Fallout: New Vegas’ DVD. This documentary DVD will contain exclusive video content, including interviews with the developers in which they take you from concept to creation and discuss topics such as story, setting, legacy of the Fallout franchise and more.
25off doesnt appear to be working anymore.
Damn shame, it would have rocked on that Fallout CE but I didn't see that thing when I reordered all my stuff in one order plus 25 OFF.

At least I have the option of getting a bunch of release titles at 25 off tho...
25off doesnt appear to be working anymore.
It looks like it's only working if you have an in-stock item in your cart. If you do, though, it applies the discount to the pre-orders as well.

I tried that it's a no go for me. I think the deals dead. I've tried a bunch of refreshed and combos, nothing.

Edit: the 25off deal that is

Yeah I got 25OFF to work like killer9's pic...but when I got to the end of checkout it said it was invalid and deleted it. Thanks for the heads up on the Fallout New Vegas CE...hopefully Amazon will be adding it too.

Doesn't make a difference for me sadly. I had it working about an hour ago but like an idiot didn't place the order and kept fiddling with what else I wanted to preorder with fallout new vegas CE.

I think we can all assume another 25OFF-ish offer will be coming up before hand or someone will find two coupons that stack. :p

Seems like they are anti 'get pre-orders for cheap' since the 25OFF madness.

25OFF still works. I just tried it. You might try clearing cookies and/or cache.

EDIT: I didn't go through with it through checkout, though....

Actually came across the same thing as well. Some random adding/removing on in-stock games and I got it to apply but removed it at checkout.

Suppose you can risk it then e-mail them about it. If they won't honor 25OFF just cancel it.
Seems like they are anti 'get pre-orders for cheap' since the 25OFF madness.
I dunno, they don't seem to be at all shy about canceling orders for just about any reason whatsoever, so I would think that if it were a problem for them we'd be seeing a lot more cancellations. All of my 25OFF pre-orders from last month are still good, and I've even gotten a few of them now -- in fact, they just shipped 3D Dot Game Heroes today.

I had 25OFF working in my cart for preorders... changed my cart to adjust some items and now I cannot get it back. Tried three different browsers and two different PC's on two separate networks... damn. I guess I need to get back to work, lol. Hint taken.

I placed an order for Alan Wake and Lost Planet 2 last night. The 25OFF automatically came up in the cart so I went ahead and submitted the order. However, when the order was actually processed, it brought them back up to regular price.

I just called GameStop customer service and they're fixing the order for me now and refunding the 25% off directly to the card.

So if you processed an order with the discount you may want to give them a call and see if they can work through it. The person I spoke with on the phone was very friendly about it and it was pretty painless (despite the fact they had a bit of a bait and switch on the site).

I just placed another order and it still worked for me. I think you definitely need an in-stock item for it to work, because it wasn't reflection until I added Fallout 3 to my cart and then all my orders got the discount applied.

The 25off showed up until the end of my order for Fallout New Vegas and Mafia 2. It even showed the price of $96 and change. I click confirm and was charged the full amount of $128 and change. Firing off an email now.
^Did you have an instock game in your cart?
No. But it still showed up as activate all the way to the end. It even showed up in the final price. After I clicked confirm, it showed up in the invoice as full price.

That's what happened to me as well, I had to re-adjust and add a instock item and then everything came up fine. Just find a cheap filler game and you should be set.

I got all the way to confirming purchase for it to remove the coupon, with a disclaimer at the top explaining that I can continue without coupon or revise my cart. I just cancelled. I was really hoping to get Alan Wake and Reach for $90 + ($20 & $10 back)... damn.

I also want to point out for those who have missed it that in store pick up invalidates some of the coupons when the item also has an online coupon.

They also charge you an additional $5 "to cover the shipping" which is BS.

Added in-stock filler, got correct price all the way to check out. Added Edge credit, clicked purchase and I get the Gamestop "Oops" screen. Damn. I cannot catch a break today.

25off not working for me. getting a lot of oops errors etc. I did see the discount once but removed fallout new vegas and now cant get the discount back

Does Gamestop's online pre-order system work like Amazon's in that you don't get charged until the game ships? Or do they charge you outright as soon as you place the order? I want to try some combinations but don't want to bother with a mess similar to what happened above and have to go back and have my card refunded and all that. :bomb:

Yeah, missed the Fallout New Vegas CE by about 5 minutes. Had it all lined up right when the "oops game over" screens started showing up. Next time I see deals like this I will order first and think about it after and cancel if needed, but missing out on 20 off the CE was a bit if a burn. Anyone actually get in on that while it was active?

Not sure what to get. Originally thought about getting 3D Dot Heroes , Episodes from Liberty City (PS3) and Demon's Souls. Then I reconsidered and thought about getting 3D Dot Heroes , Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection (PS3) , Burnout Paradise (PS3) and then some other $20 game I'd been meaning to pick up (maybe Saints Row 2?). Or I could just go with nothing since I have too many games already , although I really do want to get 3D Dot Heroes.

Decisions , decisions.:whistle2:k

25OFF still works for me ( I have Fallout: New Vegas CE game and CE guide along with Naughty Bear in my cart ). I was having trouble getting it to work earlier, but I managed to get a second copy of Red Dead Redemption, 3D Dot Game Heroes and the Borderlands add-on pack. It's a bit tricky, but I've noticed it works for sure for me when I have 3 items in my cart. Really sweet deal.
So, so many Gamestop coupons....
Gamestop earnings are way down, that's why they are having "sales". S&P 500 companies, one year, average is up 27% while gamestop down 14%. That's a 41% difference. Anywho, I'm not going to shop at Gamestop anymore until they start letting us stack these coupon codes. I really hate those $10 codes future game purchase codes that don't stack.

I've tried everything to get this most recent 25off promo to work for me and keep getting the promo declined during the payment/order review stage. The same thing happened during the last 25off promotion. UGGGGG

Also, they seem to have limited the deal to games they want you to buy not games you want to buy. Im trying to buy some rpgs for wii and the resident evil archives but seems those are not available for online purchase?????

Not working for me either. :( I've tried multiple machines, multiple browsers, and multiple combinations of games. I'm guessing 25OFF is dead.

Welcome to gamestop.com. They're not trying to limit you because of the coupon. They just stop stocking older titles for online shipping after a certain point (presumably after their warehouse stock runs out and sales on the title aren't high enough to warrant restocking). It has nothing to do with the deal.

This seems to still be working for me presently, but does anyone know what the expiration date for this code is?

Has anyone received any of their ordered items so far? I received Fallout 3 and 3D Dot Game Heroes, but on my statement it shows they only charged me $5.96 for 3DDGH. WTF?

Hey can someone answer this, if i order a item backordered will i eventually get the item for the discounted price. Im talking the street fighter 4 fight pad to be honest
