I just remembered that Stargate Season 8 comes out Oct. 4th. With the 33% off plus shipping plus tax, it comes out to 35.09 if anyone is interested. Cheaper than any store would have it. Its also about the same price when using DDD 20% off (thats where I got my first 4 seasons for this price).

However there are a number of promotions for the sale, so there's usually about 15 or so working codes at one time. So you don't have to overthink and cram everything into one huge order, which is nice. I didn't even realize there were additional codes until I checked the DVD forums here during the most recent sale.

It's definitely worth waiting for. I had to pass on a lot of items at Wherehouse because the NY sales tax brought the total cost over the discounted DDD prices (DDD charges no sales tax or shipping).

Roswell S3, Highlander S3 and S5 were all Mint. Hardly seemed like the person used them at all. Highlander S4 had minor scratch or two on two discs. All in all, im happy.

yes, i received it 3 times...i've probably made 5 or 6 orders...which is stupid because i'm wasting money on shipping....but anyways, the cc confirmation email held my order back because i haven't received shit yet, though i know i'm one of the first to order there from CAG....i had somebody call twice yesterday on a RESTRICTED #...I didn't answer the first time, but the second time it was wherehouse.com confirming that i made the orders....they really don't want you to have their #, do they? :lol:

My guess is that they're being shipped from California, as that's where you send stuff for returns. From Cali to Virginia takes 5 days - so I'll be getting my goods that were sent Monday on Saturday. Assuming there are no snaffus.

The only reason we suspect the 13th as a possible date is from this post from the OP at dvdtalk:

The flyer I got said the coupon expired 9/30, but in store they had pads of paper with the coupon code and I think it said 10/13.

But either way, I discovered there was a free shipping code, which makes me happy for the future.

Uh, what he did was multiply the price by 33%, which is how much you save, not how much the total is. Your cart=$330, 33% of which is $110, so it'd cost more like $220. Sorry =/
