Scar 3D is NOT in Blu-ray 3D format (it's old school Anaglyph... Red/Blue probably) as is made obvious by the fact that the cover of the Blu says it has glasses included.

As for having a list of movies that are NOT in full 3D... that'd be much too long of a list to be practical. I, for one, just check out the item on Amazon.com and it's always quite obvious as to whether or not the disc is Anaglyph or Blu-ray 3D. Another tip, remember that if the disc was released before the middle of last year it is in no way a Blu-ray 3D title.

There's also a Wikipedia article ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Blu-ray_3D_releases ) that has a list of what should be all the currently released Blu-ray 3D discs. I'm sure some are missing, but as long as no one vandalizes the page, it should be fairly accurate.
If a tv has 3D comb filter can it do 3D
Not necessarily... a 3D comb filter is just a video processor in the TV that attempts to clean up SD video sources (read: composite, S-video) so they don't look so terrible on an HD display. It's a process that's been around (and advertised on TVs) for over 10 years and has nothing to do with 3D... it's just a cool-sounding term used for marketing HDTVs.

If you want a 3DTV look for one that says it's a 3DTV... it's pretty much as simple as that. (I don't think you need to worry about looking for one of the older TVs that can be converted to use the current 3D format... it might get a little complicated)
cloudy with a chance of meatballs 3d 13.99 shipped brand new from reputable seller on ebay 27 copies available http://cgi.ebay.com/Cloudy-Chance-M...&ps=63&clkid=9176399937113159704#ht_500wt_835
Grabbed a copy, thanks. I got it and watched it last night, I've seen it before on DVD. It wasn't a retail copy, no barcode, but I don't really care. There's 5 left for anyone who's interested.

Whoa! What's all that crap at the end of the link?
its in 3D so 30 is good
Not really, you can get most 3D new releases for $25 their first week. Hell, Drive Angry 3D, which is MUCH better than Saw 3D, is only going to be $20 release week at Best Buy.

Lion King 4-disc 3D/BD/DVD/DC dropped in price from $36.99 to $29.99, so anyone with the $8 coupon locked in will be getting it for $21.99, or less if it drops again.

If people don't see the change in their orders within a few days, email Amazon and let them know they need to change the price on their order.

The 8-disc pack for LK + LK 1.5 + LK 2 hasn't dropped in price and still is $74.99 before coupon.

Picked up a pair of Sony 3D glasses from the Sony Style store in Tampa for $49.99. They probably had about 20 pairs in stock. They also had the color frames (blue & pink) for $69.99. They're clearing them out to make room for the newer rechargeable glasses.

You can add hoodwinked too hood vs evil. 3D to the OP

Aug 16 2011 for 29.99
Why not just buy the US 3D?

This is both "real" 3D and "fake" 3D.
Yeah, this seems to be the same as the Blu-ray 3D that comes up on Amazon.co.uk and it apparently also has 2d enabled for the "real" 3D presentation of the film.

As for the region coding, I'm pretty sure that it's locked to Region B and therefore not going to play on a regular North American Blu-ray player or PS3... and testing a PS3 game doesn't matter because all PS3 games are region-free anyway.

If you're interested in Bolt (which I'm guessing you aren't) the UK version of that is Region Free. But for Piranha I'd just go ahead and spend the extra money on the American Region A version... it's definitely going to work on your PS3.

Thanks guys, the UK version of Piranha is cheaper  I probably get it when it's cheaper on Amazon. Interesting that UK's Bolt is region free, oyi, confusing... I believe Bolt is one of the Sony 3D TV exclusives.
Is this a good deal?

Piranha 3D
(is this the 2010 version? The included 3D glasses confused me) from UK, will the 3D work on the US machines? I know games work, I tested with the UK version of the Prince of Persia HD collection.
do that site ship out to usa and also how much are they in usd
for used, its not that good of a deal. christmas carol is not a bad deal.
Guess whats happens when you open your new $30 3D Blus? They become used.

I am happy with my purchases...and I will sell the BR and extra and keep the 3D Disk only...so I will end up with an even better deal to me.

and if you can find me a cheaper place to buy used 3D movies, I will.

I am going to own all of them in a couple months....so I am always looking for a deal.

I would have grabbed one of everything if it were in stock....

Only about 10 movies away from being complete.

Where are some of the best places to buy 3D movies?

I usually scan the amazon marketplace for movies. You can find some ok deals there, but more specifically, sometimes you can find the stuff that's still exclusive to the different TV/Glasses sets and people don't realize the rarity of the items. Like the Shrek collection, Megamind, Avatar, etc.

ummm bought the set off a vendor fulfilled by amazon.

Then I asked for 3d movies on GTZ and someone wanted Shrek and gave me Avatar.

I think I am going to have to sell the glasses though.

You think 2 pairs of Samsung glasses for avatar 3D blu-ray is a good deal
You think 2 pairs of Samsung glasses for avatar 3D blu-ray is a good deal
That is basically $100. What end are you on?
That is basically $100. What end are you on?
Glasses and what do you think about aliens vs monsters 3D I still want it because I only need that, how to train your dragon 3D,avatar 3D
Doesn't the Avatar exclusive end in February? Why not just wait?
Because it a different version I think ...do think they will come out with 4 disc version like they did with Caraline

the panasonic free version is the theatrical shorter version with no extras... the thought is sometime next year it'll be released in stores in the extended version with extras...

Why is it selling like crazy high on eBay
Glasses and what do you think about aliens vs monsters 3D I still want it because I only need that, how to train your dragon 3D,avatar 3D
Sorry....still debating about MvA. I honestly forgot, between work and the kids, things have been hectic. I'm debating if I want to watch it first or just sell it sealed.

As for the glasses, it seems like 3rd party suppliers are getting better and better. $50 seems to be the average pice (I hate how Samsung switched technology though from 2010 to 2011)

I believe Avatar is becoming more affordable on 3D. I saw it on HBO 3D.

You can added The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader 3D its out now with 2 3D glassrs for 182
I believe Avatar is becoming more affordable on 3D. I saw it on HBO 3D.
Yeah, I just checked eBay and it's only $80-85 as opposed to the earlier $100+! ;)

The bundle with glasses is now $209 on Amazon (it was floating around $270 for quite a while) but it hasn't gone down in price at any B&M stores AFAIK... it's still $350 or something ridiculous at BB.

Oh and @ starmask2k3: Avatar is expensive because a lot of people who don't have Panasonic 3D setups want to own it because they think it's the best movie to use to show off their home theatre and they're willing to pay the extra bucks to have it NOW. It's a good, solid transfer, but it's not necessarily the demo disc for Blu-ray 3D anymore.
just sent off for Shrek and Megamind.

It says 12 week delivery...is it usually that long?
For you 7 years lol :)

These are a bit above my "biting" point (especially since 'Narnia' is the only one I really want to get) unless the BB $5 off coupon continues to work. ;)

Be aware that all three of these have been previously announced as being released 8/30... and, although nothing has been heard about that since the announcement, Amazon has all three titles listed as available 8/30 but all of them are priced at $34.99. We can only assume that they'll drop down to $29.99 and then lower to match any sales prices at Target, Wal-Mart or even BB... I might just wait the extra 4 weeks.
