I'll be sort of bummed if FE is on sale, since I didn't want to trade it for $30 last week (would have lost my hundred hour save). Though if it were that close in price, I suppose I'd take the $5 loss (or eBay it).

Honestly I'm expecting a lot of VC sales as was the case last time they had character-themed sales.

Yeah that's what I'm expecting too but hoping for a few retail games at least. AC and FE are just at the top of the list of games that I would like to see on sale.

Yeah I want those digital. Still have AC but didn't want to dump it since it wasn't that great at the time (though probably should have) but got rid of FEA since they were giving like $35. I'll grab Mario 2 & 3 for sure, Mario Land and PunchOut are both maybes.

Well at $15 out of pocket that would still be justifiable I suppose. If we get a sale on ALBW and X/Y as well I'll be quite happy. Hoping for KI Uprising on top of that would probably be too much to hope for. Just watch next eek be all the bad Sonic and Mega Man games.

This has the potential to be a pretty good sale combined with discounted eShop credit. Cod course I can still bemoan that there won't be an Earthbound or Dark Moon sale based on what's shown.

It's incredibly well done. M2 is usually considered the best emulation developer out there. The 3D effect is impressive, they added the spin-dash to the first game, provide an option to emulate the audio on the Genesis's or Genesis 2's sound hardware, and you can choose between Japanese and International versions of the game.

You could buy a cheap 2ds now at target then buy the New 3ds next year if you really want one now.
 
Hmmm - Still have FE sealed. I might get it digitally though (assuming it is one of next week's items). Not sure if $30 is quite cheap enough though.

I got one $10 card at GS (for half price of course). And after buying the Mario Kart DLC (even though I traded in the game for $56 at GS last week) I have like $48 still on my account anyway. But I was planning on getting Smash Bros. digitally. So I guess I ought to get a few more eShop cards this week... Even if I don't buy FE I'm sure there will be something else.

I think I still have 2 or 3 $5 Digital Deluxe $5 certs to redeem too thanks to all those Mario Kart promo games (I traded for all of them).

It seems like I probably ought to make use of all this digital money and then I can keep my FE sealed. That is likely to be worth something down the line. Even Fire Emblem Sacred Stones, which was clearance bin fodder for the longest time, has come back up again (worth like $100 new now!).

Edit: Crap, never mind. I just realized I opened my FE to bring the cart with me on a trip but I never played it. So, yeah, I might as well play the cart now.

Hmmm... Since I traded my Mario Kart 8, it would be great to be able to buy that digitally. I wonder if there's any chance they'll have that as part of this sale. I'd get that even at $49.99.

Hrm, punchout on the 3DS is tempting.  I only ever played it a few times as a kid, seems like it'd be a fun time waster at $3.50...

Would love to pick up 3d Land, but I'm not sure I can justify that much on a impulse purchase right now, especially with the Zelda games coming up on sale next week (crossing fingers for OoT.)

I'll wait until New Island hits $20.

Hopefully Tropical Freeze has a good discount when that sale comes around. Originally, I was hoping Nintendo was going to have another free game promotion for Smash 4, and I would be able to pick it up there as a result, but a sale could be just as good, assuming it's at the right price.

 
I just got my 2ds for a 100 from gstop 2 days ago. It works real good, only thing you probably should get is the 2ds trigger grips which make it so much better. 2ds is actually great since i never use the 3d in games anyway. I just started Link Between Worlds and dat silky smooth 60 fps, damn.

 
Dammit, when is Fire Emblem gonna go on sale?! I've got $35 in my account but the damn thing is $39.99 and I refuse to add the extra $5 out of pure stubbornness!
 
Does anybody know if it's possible to copy my (cartridge) Super Mario 3D Land save data onto the 3DS SD card? I can't figure it out. I'd like to trade in my boxed copy and go digital - but I worry I'll lose my progress and have to start over.

As long as you have the digital version on your system you can use the save transfer took from the eShop to transfer it to the digital copy.

Just to add: this only goes in one direction, you can't currently transfer a digital save to a cartridge. I used the transfer tool for MK8 when I got my XL and it does work well, however.

That's an Xseed game, right? Xseed has sales once in a while, though not as frequently as Atlus. Nintendo doesn't control Xseed prices, I don't think. I think if you wait, you will get a sale or price drop. On the other hand, if you are planning to play right away, I would encourage you to just buy it and play it. It is fantastic. I bought it the day it came out, as I did with all Atlus/Xseed games when I had money. :) And will do again when I have money (but in the meantime, what with my backlog, I think I will wait for sales now).

Me too, and kicking myself now. I think I bought it when it had a permanent price drop, thinking it would never go down any further, and I haven't even played it! So annoyed at myself.

I hope Luigi's Mansion gets a deal. I feel like I've been waiting forever for that. Bought my fiancee the physical version on sale and she hasn't even played it. I'm jealous.
