For the record the Penn and Teller segment posted here is about some hippy-hipsters who live only organic and some interviews with other people on the other side of the argument. Food Inc. doesn't relate to this.

Nothing against you OP, but I don't really get how McDonald's considers this a deal. The 5 piece chicken nugget at Wendy's is 99 cents regular price so if I got 50 it would be $9.90, plus Wendy's > McDonald's so...

McDonald's nuggets are WAY better than Wendy's (and BK too). Go to a McDonald's in a nice neighborhood where it's actually kept clean and run well. The food is fresh and tastes pretty amazing.

And to the people who are saying it's bad for us or going to make us overweight, quit stereotyping. During the semester, I eat at McDonald's every Wednesday. I also weigh like 140 pounds or so. Guess I'm a giant fat ass or something. I imagine more than a third of the people posting here are overweight.. doesn't mean they ate at McDonald's. :p Not saying it's healthy, but when you work out or take care of yourself it won't bother you so much.

It's funny how everyone here is promoting Food, Inc. and how fast food is bad when one of the documentary's largest sponsors was Chipotle Mexican Grill--the same company that is just so happened to be owned by McDonalds.

Exact thing I was thinking. Wendy's Nuggets > McD's Nuggets any day of the week.

This sucks major alligator balls!! I live in MD, and everything here is shut down. I hope this thawout come soon. Thanks blizzard of 2010!

With this amount you can easily house your own McNugget Challenge. Each person ponies up 50 McNuggets. The first one to eat all 50 (without vomiting) wins. No drink allowed, sauce *IS* allowed, however may help fill you up/make you sick in the long run.

Which part? I checked out a few in the Greenbelt area and nobody was doing it here anyway.

I stopped eating fast food years ago, but this is too awesome... However, I can't do it.. I've been detoxed from McDonald's poison so I barf anytime I ever try to eat their nasty (yet delicious) food.
I don't think this is totally Nationwide. Went to my local McDonald's last night with a bunch of friends and they had NO idea what I was talking about when I asked for the 50 nugget deal.
Kingston PA store.
Yeah, I don't think it's nationwide either, I went to 2 different McD's in CT here and there was no advertising and nobody knew anything about it.

Got this today. Nice deal $16.xx.
50 nuggets, 2 large fries and 2 large drinks between 2 adults and a child.
This shit is near impossible to finish, lol. This should be on man vs food.

It comes in a special 50 piece box.
I saw this in my international management class. I need to find some of the other funny ads that would never fly here. Either way, even Ronald prefers BK!

That was probably a hidden camera turned into an AD.
:D

silly mcdonalds..
Glad someone RATIONAL posted on here. The really amusing thing about this debate is how people will BELIEVE ANYTHING THEY SEE IN A DOCUMENTARY!

Come on. I can make a documentary about how great Hitler was, with tons of "evidence", but how does that make it true?

This movie looks like pure propaganda, but somehow, that's okay. Why? Because the propaganda comes from "organic" people who know what's really good for us, and not a big corporation. It's like Lewis Black said, "They don't know what's really good for us! They don't! It's constantly changing!" Eat red meat. Don't eat red meat. Drink lots of water; don't drink lots of water! Eat more bread; eat less bread!

Haha! Sorry... I forgot it's a DOCUMENTARY. I.e. all true. My bad! ;)
Another dose of what is wrong with this country. Before you open your mouth, you should actually KNOW WHAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT. It is so obvious you are talking out of your ass. No, you should not just take it at face value if you don't buy what a documentary or anything else says. If you disagree then you go out and find this little thing called EVIDENCE to rebut what is said. But first, you MUST actually WATCH the film first before doing any of that. Leave it to morons to show that is what they are. They need no help on that.

i didn't get the 50 piece box. I got five 10 piece boxes. me and my buddy got this and we had a hell of a time eating these. Think we ended up giving the dogs at least 10 so we only finished 40.
Thanks for the penn teller link

brb, viewing a few more
No problem. Sad that a show named "Bullshit" has more truth to it than a "documentary" film.

People eat those... things.... ick.

I thought they were 5 for a $1 anyways, so 5 times 10 would be... 50! Wow!

documentaries with comedy are awesome.

the "war on porn" episode had me hooked up.
"Who are you going to believe? us or them? We have boobs!"
Yep, that episode did deliver the boobs and truth.

It appears that Teller doesnt talk..lol

Just came back from Mcdonalds. Sadly they never heard of the deal, so I ordered 40 pieces at the regular price. oh well, I could never finish 50 at one sitting anyway. WTG to all who got the deal. Go Colts!!!!!!!

They ran out on the closest McDonalds and I didn't feel like walking further. She did tell me that they were going to be doing the 50 nuggets for $10 every weekend for the month of February. I don't know if it's true but that what the cashier said.

After the first 20 pieces it made me sick and I threw the rest away. Great for parties but not good for one person. lol

Why threw away if you can give the 30 pieces to homeless people.

This would be a valid argument if you constantly take a dump in your yard, but poop in the toilet does not benefit the environment at all. Are you a yard pooper?

So you throw chicken nuggets in your compost bin? Dear lord, I hope you don't turn out to be the head of the EPA in the future.
This should provide adequate sustenance for the Dr. Who marathon!
I dunno man. I sure could go for a hundred tacos right about now...

yikes. you dont want to know where those chickens have come from. they go from being an egg, to hatching and being on the store shelf within 3 weeks, and these mickie d's chickens have never seen the light of day and are pumped full of so many steroids, they cannot stand up.

go ahead tho.

maybe i shouldnt have posted, but i try to visualize 100 of those nuggets, and just where they came from, and i want to throw up
you got owned even before you opened your mouth
Thank you for proving my point.

But maybe it's my fault, like my dad says, "there's no point in pointing out to a stupid person why they're stupid cause they'll never uderstand." :wall:

i am seriously getting hungry for chicken nuggets

i dont care if they feed chickens to the chickens to produce better chicken nuggets or intoxicate them with steroids or toxins.
