Wow, I want all of those PS2 games minus PSU

Luckily, I think by the time I get to playing them they'll drop to $20 or less. (At this backlog rate PS4 will be out by the time I get to some of them)

Yea there is a single player mode. I played it and beat the single player mode in about 25 hrs. For $20 its ok, but I found the game to be pretty boring and the storyline isn't great either.

Glad to see Phantasy Star Universe on the X360 back in stock at 19.99. I picked up a copy of that along with a copy of Elite Beat Agents for the DS (need another $5.xx to qualify for free super saver shipping). Even though I don't think I will be playing PSU online, I heard on the 1UP Yours podcast that the single-player campaign for PSU is actually quite fun so I'm sure it's worth the $20.
 
Did anyone else get a $5 coupon applied to their order, I placed a $35 order and in addition to free shipping there was $5 taken off, anyone know how i got that?
 
Now I remember, I got a credit from something I bought from a seller and then returned, I never got the shipping refunded by amazon gave me a $5 credit, that was ages ago though, sorry for the false alarm, I was wondering why nobody else mentioned it.

I want to say a big fuck you to amazon. I just paid 50 something bucks for psu on ps2 and now its 20. I knew the price would drop gradually but I didn't think it would be this steep this fast. I know it's probably just a deal for a few days or so but still, thats 30 bucks I could've saved.

If you bought from Amazon, definitely shoot them an email. I've had no issues with asking for price adjustments. Just be polite and send the email while the price is at the lower price... you'll most likely get a credit. (I HAVE had them shoot me down when the price goes back up between the time I email and when they answer it, which kinda sucks)
 
anybody that resist getting 2 great(maybe good not great, but still good) RPG's for the DS for less than $30 should really get their noggin's examined!!! These games are selling for around $30 each with prices not going less than $23 for Magical SS!!! Now if only StarfoxDS and FF III would be so accomodating. FIY I picked up both CoM and MSS great deal indeed!!!
 
I couldn't resist. I picked up Magical Starsign and Battlefield 2142. BF was 29.99. That slightly makes up for passing on it on Black Friday. Did anyone else get a free trial to amazon prime? When I was about to order I got one so it was free 2-day shipping.
 
Wow, great deals. I was able to resist Magical Starsign and Children of Mana thankfully since I have a pretty hefty backlog of DS games and the DS Lite gets lower priority these days due to the 360 and Wii. I had to bite on PSU for $20 though; I almost bought it when it was $30 yesterday.

I'm just waiting for Smackdown and DoA to drop another $10-20 and I'll get those too. :)

CoM and Magical Starsign too cheap to pass on. I had'nt expected buying these games till next year some time.

My backlog of games to play is getting out of control.

magical starsign did hit 22.99 at cc few weeks back (or 17.99 for those lucky enough to get it price match and use a 5 buck off Best buy coupon : )


if you dont like using the touch screen you wont like this game,. ALSO some of the battles lag on too freaking long if you dont know what your doing. I just landed on the wood world? and one battle took like 20 mins
 
The prices are really good, but the reviews really aren't that kind to Magical Starsign and Mana. And since I still have Contact to play (which I like - it's quirky), I'm officially passing. My Castlevania will be here Friday anyway (never mind the billion other games I have).

Amazon has always given me a refund to my credit card if there was a price drop within 30 days. All you have to do is follow the instructions here (which someone posted earlier).

I picked up Devil Summoner and Magical Starsign yesterday. It was tough to do considering I'm awaiting FF3 and Castlevania today, but these deals were too good to pass up! Many thanks Cheapy, these kind of deals are where CAG really shines for me.

Also, to those on the fence on Children of Mana, please reconsider. It's honestly the worst Mana in the series, and I don't even have the desire to finish it. It's sadly just too repetitive and not that fun at all. This is coming from a big fan too. You're better off saving the money.

Just a tip, even thought amazon says it has a 30 day policy on price drops Its really more than 6 months hehe. I just got a $5 credit card charge back for Phoenix Wright that I bought back in July, when it was $29.99. I e-mailed them yesterday and got the reply today. I try not to abuse it but thats about the only reason I keep shopping at Amazon, I buy all my big ticket items there(if they offer it) and if the price drops within 6 months on their site I ask for the price difference. Just be polite and say you want a refund and Ive never been shot down.

In my opinion, Legend of Mana is the worst mana game. I haven't played Childern of Mana yet, but I seriously doubt it could be worst than Legend of Mana. Guess I'll find out later this week when the game arrives.
 
Medievel Resurrection is $12.82. I'm thinking about it since I never played the originals, though the reviews aren't real great.

Still can't bite the bullet on Mana or Starsign either.
 
Despite lackluster reviews I picked up CoM and Starsign.
I also picked up Donkey Konga 2 for $10. No point picking up the $20 version w/bongos since I have 4 sets already.

I decided to pull the trigger on this, seeing as I owned and enjoyed the first MediEvil game on the PSOne, and I won't have second thoughts on a $13 game. I also picked up Mortal Kombat: Unchained and Power Stone Collection - both should keep me occupied during the holidays.
 
Ironically I'm more interested in the chess and puzzle parts of Mortal Kombat :D I'd probably bite for $10

even though i probably should have passed. they were just to good of deals. i could probably trade them in and make money.
 
Thanks to the people posting about Amazon's price adjustment policy.

I just sent them an email this morning about the $10 difference for the 360 HD-DVD player, and I already received a response for the $10 refund back to my card.
 
Kao: Challengers is $14.99. For some reason I think I'm going to get it. Gamespot gave it a pretty positive review (basically that it doesn't do anything new, but it's solid fun). It's a 3D platformer-Kao 2 really, but with some multiplayer games added in to the PSP version.

I haven't played a good 3D platformer since the original Jak and Dexter, so I guess I'm kind of wanting one (though I prefer 2D platformers).

Dang it, I wish I had rented Magical Starsign and Children of Mana! They both seem like I'll probably hate them, but might love them-love the art, if nothing else!
 
Is PSU still in stock? It says $54.99 on the page but its in my cart as $19.99 - I want to order but I dont want this to end up fucked up. Someone help me please?
