F.A.Q.S.:

1. Does the game I'm buying from Amazon Activate on Steam/Origin/Uplay? What DRM does the game use?

There are two places to identify DRM on a digital video game detail page:

At the top of the page, below the title:

16hm7a8.png

In the "Product Description" section:

r06ykl.jpg

2. Note on Electronic Arts Games - For the most part, EA games sold on Amazon do not activate on Steam. Most activate on Origin.

3. Note on DRM with limited activations:

Our Policy

4. Sometimes I'll do giveaways.

5. I work with developers and publishers to get fun (or at least what I think is fun) content to share with you all. Here are some examples:

a. Check out the Pax Gameplay videos here: Xcom: Enemy Unknown I played Xcom with Jake, the Creative Director for the game, a few months before the game came out Also, on this page, check out the Q&A, also a community driven event.

b. Check out the interview on this page: Borderlands 2 we did this interview at E3 with Randy Pitchford this year.

c. We've partnered with the ++GoodGames Podcast to feature many of the games we carry. They talk to the developers about the game development process, how the games are conceptualized and managed, all kinds of fun stuff. I'm working on putting together full link list and will update when I have it.

What else do we sell?

Xbox Live Points and Subscriptions:

1600 Microsoft Live Points
4000 Microsoft Live Points
12 Month XBOX Live Subscription
3 Month XBOX Live Subscription]
12 Month + 1 XBOX Live Subscription

PSN+ Subscriptions and PSN Points:

$20 PSN Points
$50 PSN Points

3 Month PSN+ Subscription

We also have a Free-2-Play store supported by our GameConnect technology. Thank you, got a crusaders king 2 dlc for free :)

I didn't get a Steam key for Deus Ex Human Revolution or Hitman Blood Money.. They only have the option of downloading via amazon.. Did I buy the wrong package? :'(

Not really a big problem, but I would definitely prefer Steam keys.
Yeah, I got the Shark Attack DLC :)
Went for the Explosive Commando Pack, about to try it out now

I had the same problem earlier, it went away when I clicked on the PC Downloads tab next to the All Items button

I think you should wait for more keys to back. Just wait. :)

Thanks for the code, Tony. I picked up Magicka Vietnam DLC. Been wanting to play it for a while.
Thanks for the coupon Tony. Just picked up an EA game for $17.99!

no i didn't, but I'm browsing for something now
lol... good one
Am I the only CAG who wanted every game from this pack and had none of them yet?

Also, thanks for the new discount code. I'm thinking I need to grab some DLC.
Nope I struck gold. Wanted to play most of them. Have none of them

Same just recently got into PC gaming, Deus Ex and Just Cause 2 were extremely high on my list...was always interested in Quantum Conundrum on the xbox...those 3 alone are incredibly worth it

Unfortunately, the only one I really needed was The Last Remnant. (I don't have JC1 either, but have 2).
This is a fantastic deal and I have been fighting myself all day over buying it or not. I have some of these games on xbox and there's a stupid part of my brain telling me I should get steam "backups".

Nice code Tony, picked up some Magicka DLC.

If anyone has a Last Remnant key that they would like to sell to me, then please message me!

(I already own the Deus Ex games, JC2, and QC, so won't be picking up the pack.)
I'll offer $3.50 paypal for:

Just Cause
Quantum Conundrum
Supreme Commander 2
The Last Remnant
Those are the same ones I need XD. But I don't have paypal, so I'll just wait for the whole bundle to come back, and trade the other keys. Btw, Tony, thanks for the $2. I bought the Magicka Daemons pack! :D

God I am dumb. I was thinking you could use the $2 on the $10 bundle as a "sorry for the inconvenience" type of thing. Same sort of gesture, just not for that bundle it seems lol.

I have a $5 credit from a previous GW2 purchase.

That $5 credit + $2 off (temp, digital purch) = $7.

Is FIFA 13 worth picking up on PC for just shy of $20? I prefer to play on 360 (Achievements... kind of a progress/chronological tracking sort of thing for me).

But I do have the controller kit for the PC. Any thoughts?

Still cant find anything to use the $2 code on. Not really into getting a crappy $2 dlc free. Any games on sale not included recently in these cheap packs?
hmm, never really liked Pendulo's games though.

Other than SR3 and Darksiders 2, what other games does Amazon sell the smaller DLC packs for? I might just go that route before the code expires.

Not sure if this will work, but I searched and sorted for cheapest things with "dlc"
http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=sr_nr_n...ords=dlc&ie=UTF8&qid=1350272888&rnid=11846801

Maybe come civ 5 dlc for $0.99
I bought Warlock DLC, but there are tons of Magicka DLCs for under $2 as well. Best search criteria is to just find everything in the DVG store between $.01 and $2

Off the top of my head, Warlock, Crusader Kings & Magicka.
Off the top of my head, Warlock, Crusader Kings & Magicka.
If you picked up Crusader Kings in the bundle during the Labor Day sale, it had much of the DLC, but not Songs of the Caliph or the African Unit Pack. The former is used with the Sword of Islam DLC and isn't so hot on it's own, but the latter should be a nice addition.

Meh, I just got a Darksiders 2 dlc. Gf got the other Darksiders 2 dlc. I haven't gone back to that game since launch due to the crappy PC port. I'll get back to it eventually, but I wonder if I even want the dlc since it sort of ruins the loot aspect of the game for however those dlc items are useful.

Trying to buy something (sonic casino nights dlc)... after clicking on buy and get code, it asks me my login information (normal process)... but after that it asks me:

"Please re-enter your payment information.
We want to make sure this is an authorized use of your account."

That last pass is new to me, I never had to enter manually my credit card information, never saw that screen before, and is the "review and purchase" screen. So, I believe that after entering my CC info, the purchase will be made, without any chance of entering the code.

That's just a periodic thing that Amazon automatically does to make sure you are using your account and not someone else. I had the same thing happen to me tonight and you will be able to enter the code after confirming the CC info.

I find it amusing that you'd say "I don't even know if I want 'em" but you made sure to get both DLC using your girlfriend's account

I'm not judging, mind you. I just sweetly asked my wife "Honey? Would you like to give me a nice quick present by going on your Amazon Prime account and...?"

Its free, free is free. I wish there was something I actually wanted, but c'mon its free. If I do play Darksiders 2 again in the future at least I wont go, "Hmm, why didn't I get that FREE dlc."

Thank you to whichever mod it was that cleaned this place up, even if it does give us the dreaded phantom page. :whee:

Guild Wars 2 has been taking up so much of my time lately that I can't even think of a sale I'd look forward to, but I'm sure Tony will surprise me and force me to open my wallet in the near future.

Thanks A LOT, Tony!!!
I grabbed Sonic Generations: Casino Nights DLC w/ your code $2 off code.
So, my next question is - when is Sonic Generations (base game) going on sale? :p

I don't like the phantom page, but I like personal attacks less. Thanks for cleaning this up (and the ignore button).

Thanks Tony for the Lonely Island Cruise DLC!
Grabbed the first Doctor Who game... so I actually paid money with the code.
Didn't even know these games existed. I hope they're good.

No idea. They're free if you have a British proxy though, through BBC.

How do I remove my gift card balance from checkout when buying DLC? I'm trying to use just the $2 code by itself, but it's adding my gift card balance to it.

You just input the code, apply it, and it will automatically remove the gift card if it's $2 or less. If it's more than $2, why aren't you just using the gift card to pay the remainder? You'd rather use real money than money that can only be used on Amazon? :cold:
