F.A.Q.S.:

1. Does the game I'm buying from Amazon Activate on Steam/Origin/Uplay? What DRM does the game use?

There are two places to identify DRM on a digital video game detail page:

At the top of the page, below the title:

In the "Product Description" section:

2. Note on Electronic Arts Games - For the most part, EA games sold on Amazon do not activate on Steam. Most activate on Origin.

3. Note on DRM with limited activations:

Our Policy

4. Sometimes I'll do giveaways.

5. I work with developers and publishers to get fun (or at least what I think is fun) content to share with you all. Here are some examples:

a. Check out the Pax Gameplay videos here: Xcom: Enemy Unknown I played Xcom with Jake, the Creative Director for the game, a few months before the game came out Also, on this page, check out the Q&A, also a community driven event.

b. Check out the interview on this page: Borderlands 2 we did this interview at E3 with Randy Pitchford this year.

c. We've partnered with the ++GoodGames Podcast to feature many of the games we carry. They talk to the developers about the game development process, how the games are conceptualized and managed, all kinds of fun stuff. I'm working on putting together full link list and will update when I have it.

What else do we sell?

Xbox Live Points and Subscriptions:

1600 Microsoft Live Points
4000 Microsoft Live Points
12 Month XBOX Live Subscription
3 Month XBOX Live Subscription]
12 Month + 1 XBOX Live Subscription

PSN+ Subscriptions and PSN Points:

$20 PSN Points
$50 PSN Points
12 Month PSN+ Subscription
3 Month PSN+ Subscription

We also have a Free-2-Play store supported by our GameConnect technology. Gameconnect allows you to link your Amazon.com account with free-2-play and MMO accounts so that you can buy things like in game currency, premium game time/subscriptions, in game items, etc. on Amazon.com using your Amazon.com payment options and have this content delivered directly into your game.

Hey Tony,

I just bought 2k Super Strategy Pack for $14.99. I know it'll be on the EC list, but it works now. Awesome deal and keep up the good work!
If you're interested in anything 2K related wait until tomorrow (1/2). That's when their stuff goes live.

Cheers,
Tony
Tony my man, is The Secret World and Dark Souls as good as they'll get with the $5 promo.

I so wish you meant Max Payne. Stupid Take Two subsidiary crap. >_
Tony, please tell me that Alan Wake and LA Noire will be added to the list. 0_0
Tony said not likely to Alan Wake.
Good question, AW more than likely won't make the EC list. I'll get on the PM now.

Cheers,
Tony

I must have missed what your problem was? Can you restate?

Cheers,
Tony
I have zero problems with you. I was just venting about how I was trying to email Amazon about the various promotional credits that were attached to my account. But twice all they said was that "Your available promotional certificate balance appears in the payment section when you place an order" which is stupid if I don't know WHICH items are eligible for a promotion unless I am actually trying to purchase the item.

Basically, I was trying to find out exactly how many $5 credits I have, and how many individual item credits I have. ($9.99 off some movie, or whatever, for example.)

So I was/am just frustrated that nobody seemed to understand that I was asking for the details, and not asking "how do I use them derrr"

Actually, only beef with you is that the OP hasn't been updated in a few days. :p

Picked up Hotline Miami and the WTF/Crazy Action Pack (Duke Nukem Forever, Borderlands GOTY [one of my favorite games - can't wait to gift it], and The Darkness II [woohoo!]).

Thanks to The End for also helping me get the Desert to Sea bundle (Bioshock I&II and Spec Ops: The Line) for a good deal, too!

Can't wait to find more games to throw my money and coupons (or just coupons, heh) at!
If the Dungeon Defenders 2 pack worked with it. :O
nope, better get humble indie undle 7 it comes with $50 worth of dlc but its like 6.30 u also get more games
I was coming in here to see who would be the first person to ask about a price not being in place at 12:01AM!

As a reminder, pricing takes between 20 - 90 minutes to flip. BF Premium Service will be $24.99 sometime in that period.

Cheers,
Tony
Three cheers for Tony for a great 2012!

Here's to 2013, the year Amazon puts the competition to rest!

Whoops what happens if ive already purchased a copy of a game in the past, and try to buy one again? How does gifting work if at all on amazon?
which coupons?
lol nevermind sorry. I forgot I had credit :/
(I applied a $5 gift card this morning and forgot about it)

Sorry for getting peoples hopes up. Deleted previous post to avoid further confusion.

If it's a Steam key, you get... another Steam key. Which whoever is going to play the game then has to enter on their end. Same with Origin.
There's no gifting system.
Risen 2 go!

Also Stronghold Collection $5~
so is risen 2 for $14.99 the deal?
or is there a better deal with the dlc or something?

Nah some of us are just hoping it ends up on the EC list.
How are you getting Bioshock 1 and 2 pack for free? I can't find it in the EC list.
"Bioshock dual pack", of course. There's a Steam and a mixed DRM one.

Tony mentioned several of the 2K items (in the first post) would make guest appearances on the EC list. I believe he stated they'll show on the 2nd.

To get the Bioshock pack free, just buy it as normal (make sure you get the one with Steam DRM) and when you buy it your discount is automatically applied.

Only one I'm biting on so far is Dark Souls.

Amazon says I have $211.78 in Gaming Credit, most of which is probably those F2P bonuses they were handing out for the past few months. But I probably have quite a few more $5 coupons. Looking forward to seeing what's added.

I see it for 15$ Risen2? So 10$, still too high.
Bleh!
lol sorry Mooby. I was excited too, then I realized I spent $5 real dollars on something I am not even sure I am going to play (anytime soon/ever) :/ I definitely wouldn't have pulled the trigger so fast on it if I wasn't so damn tired/tipsy.
