Pre-Order Borderlands 2 from us for 10% off and help me get a tattoo! Yes it activates on Steam!

I am a huge Borderlands 2 fan and I want this to be our best selling pre-order ever. So I've drawn a line in the sand. If, from now until launch, we take 40,000 more preorders than where we were on 7/2/2012 I will get a Borderlands tattoo on my back.

Sorry if his has already been asked. For the "Oh So Fine" Bundle, I already own Costume Quest. Can I give the code for that to someone else and keep the other two games?

Yes :)

Cheers,
i have a silly question , are these pc games direct download or are they redeem codes?
It depends on the game, some are direct download only, some are just a key for steam (Alan Wake ... atm), and some have both.

Bah! Tony beat me to it ... damn he's fast! :applause:
i have a silly question , are these pc games direct download or are they redeem codes?
What Tony said. Some are and some aren't, but to further expand on that point, in general if something requires Steam it will be a code to redeem, for newer EA games you can choose to direct download or register the key Amazon gives you on Origin and download there and for the rest DRM free or non Steam or EA DRM then you just direct download from Amazon. There may be exceptions to that I'm not thinking of.

Also the Amazon pages aren't always 100% clear on Steam vs non-Steam so if you aren't sure you can always search around or ask here.
Sorry about that, I thought I answered this. We're in conversation with those guys but I don't have a timeline to when we'll have their game yet.
Oh, maybe I missed it, then?
Sorry about that.

Good to know that you guys are looking at getting it. :)

Anyways - for those who have NOT got into the TL2 Beta yet...
If you played Torchlight 1 and thought that was pretty good...
HA, you just ain't seen nothing yet!!
TL2 Beta is MUCH improved over the original TL game in pretty much every way, from what I've played so far - voice-acting; story-telling; configurable controls; UI design; etc etc.

I like next week's deals the 4-packs are a great idea, now which Serious Sam game should I buy, I know very little about this franchise so any recommendations would be nice

Although they are each separate campaigns with different content I would recommend the Second Encounter (not to be confused with SS2) over the First Encounter. TSE is a bit more polished and has more weapons. Serious Sam 2 was designed for the Xbox and ported only recently. It's a fun 10-12ish hour game but it suffers from standard console limitations like smaller levels, less enemies spawned at a given time, FoV issues, etc. It's still a fun game just not as 'Serious' as the others in the series. SS3 is a worthy modern successor -- starts off slow but picks up later. So... probably The Second Encounter and Serious Sam 3. If later on you decide you absolutely need more you can pick up SS2 on another sale.

I would pass on the 'licensed' titles like Random Encounter, Double D, etc. They aren't really Serious Sam games and are of fairly dubious quality.

Yep, good deals. I might grab SS3 for $10. TSE has been as low as $2 during one of the major Steam sales (and I passed on it at the time since I hadn't played TFE that much). I'll probably just wait to see what Steam prices it at during the Summer sale.

Any chance of getting Vivendi Universal titles for digital download? My GF was looking for a cheap and easy version (if it isn't digital its to much work for her hah) of Bard's Tale.
So glad I didn't bite on Amazon's last Serious Sam sale. These prices are definitely superior.

Question... Does the $1.50 credit stack with each purchase?
Would like to know this too.I'm interested in 2 things there it would be great to pay $2 more to get the new dlc too.
Any opinions on Roller Coaster Tycoon?
RCT is an oldie but goodie. Has anyone confirmed its the latest patched up version and works with x64 win7?
I have the rest but I will host a 4 pack of ss2
It's definitely a fun game and even better co-op just a bit awkward compared to the rest of the series. Some vehicle fighting, too, which might be off-putting. That and the story is... too bizarre for words. But I digged the colorful aesthetics and you can't go wrong for the buck and change you'd get it via a 4-pack.
now which Serious Sam game should I buy, I know very little about this franchise so any recommendations would be nice
Most will tell you the best game in the series is Serious Sam: The Second Encounter.

For the HD versions, Croteam rebuilt The First Encounter and The Second Encounter in their new engine, so they hold up very well, graphically.

The Random Encounter and Double D are Croteam sanctioned fan games. They are an RPG and Side-Scrolling Shooter, respectively.

Of the First-Person-Shooter Croteam games, I'd rank them:

Serious Sam HD: The Second Encounter
Serious Sam HD: The First Encounter
Serious Sam 3
Serious Sam 2

Until just now I always thought Serious Sam HD: The Second Encounter was a remake of Serious Sam 2. Very confusing naming scheme. Anyway, I wish there were a bundle available of all of the franchise (or at least all of the shooters).

For those that don't check the steam group buy thread, I have the following spots left:

1 spot for Serious Sam 3 BFE ($7.49 each)
1 spot for Serious Sam HD: the First Encounter ($2.49 each)
1 spot for Serious Sam: The Random Encounter ($0.99 each)
1 spot for Serious Sam Double D ($1.49 each)

I accept either paypal or amazon credit.

Count me in for one spot of each. I'm at work until 6pm EST and we'll talk more.
If you buy the original Alan Wake on Amazon and register it on Steam you should be able to get a 25% discount on a New American Nightmare pre-order directly from Steam, so basically any time all the way up until release.

Of course it would be nice if they gave Amazon the opportunity to match that deal as well, but still if the discount on the DLC is a deciding factor you can still get it when buying Alan Wake from Amazon.

I know I bought Alan Wake from Amazon and Steam is showing the 25% off promo for NAN for me.
Thank You kind Sir, I'll take it under advisement, though I'd still rather give the business to Tony for the DLC if I could.
Hi Tony,

It was ~$9 on GamersGate 2 weeks ago or so, do you want an even lower price? :p

Yep it will be lower than $9 and we have this slated for the back half of the MAYHem sale, so another week still.

Cheers,
Tony

FYI Serious Sam pricing is up on everything except the Serious Sam 3: BFE 4 pack.

I'm hoping this goes live in the next hour or so, not sure what is taking so long.

Cheers,
Tony

I'll be hosting a 4 pack for Serious Sam 3 BFE ($7.50 per person) once the price goes live. PM me if you're interested, I take paypal as payment.
Still curious if the $1.50 off DLC stacks with each purchase.
I'm curious about this as well, but my guess is that it doesn't stack.

EDIT: All slots gone

See above.

Also, I just sent off another email on the SS3 price. I'm showing everything as fine in my system...but the price isn't changing on the site. Having an engineer look at it now.

Again, sorry about the delay here guys! I've got several red exclamation point emails out on this issue and we have multiple engineers looking to the price change on the back end. I'm hoping for resolution shortly.

I'm headed to a graduation event right now so won't be able to respond for a couple of hours. I'll check back in this afternoon though.

Stay tuned and keep building those 4-pack groups :).

Cheers,
Tony
