Super MNC: Customers who link their Amazon account with a Super MNC account will receive an exclusive Team Spirit Assault Rifle. This weapon for the Assault Pro has a unique, team colored, metal barrel shroud and is only available through Amazon.

Tony, any chance you guys can price match the Tropico 4 expansion Modern Times to the Steam deal? $4.99. I already bought Tropico 4 through Amazon, and I wouldn't mind picking up this expansion.

Question: Can you use the same link throughout the duration of the promo/giveaway and just update the document (I know nothing about google documents)? If so then the community can basically just spread the link via PMs.

Your last method of hiding the keys still works for URL's. It is possible to then use that, that seems more fair, at least you have to log in just to get the link and then go to the document, and the idea is that then people would at least delete their key once used because google docs support live editing of some capacity, so the hope is they cut out the key they used, hopefully then say who they are if not at least we aren't getting locked out because the key is out of the database of good keys, and then at least it leaves it more open for people to say thanks. It seems to be better, maybe people will use that it seems like a good idea, the only way to know is to test it. Also I know that google docs can have permissions set on them, if you wanted maybe, we can find a way to use that to our advantadge, well for one needing the link is a privacy option so thats a start.

This will probably get lost in the shuffle but here my thoughts and a few questions on GameConnect:

1. The process is seamless and painless to create a new account and link it. I really like the interface. Click link, create an account quickly in a new window, linked, and then process order. I usually hate signing up for these F2P because sign up can be a pain, but this is painless.

2. The bonuses for a lot of these games are great. I mean free starter packs is enough to get me to try some of these out.

3. My main questions:

a. How do you guys define a "new" account?
b. A few companies have multiple games and offers advertised (Pirates Galaxy and Steel Legions for example and the Aika people). They offer you something for linking a new account for each respective game. The problem is once you create an account for one game, it becomes a general account for all games under that company. Do I still get the bonuses for linking the accounts?

I signed up for Pirates Galaxy account for the bonus and I signed up for a Steel Legions, but Steel Legions told me an account was already created, so it turns out they made me log in with the info I provided when I created the Pirates Galaxy account. Is this still a new account for the Steel Legions bonus or do I only get the Pirates Galaxy bonus?

The same thing happend with other games after I signed up for new Aika account. Does it only recognize the first game as a new account?

Edit: To follow up, I got the Pirate Galaxy bonus code, but not the Steel Legions one, I presume because I linked it first. So you might just want to make it clear that on games under the same company you only get one bonus and it is for whichever game you sign up/link first?

I don't know if google doc will helpif posted in public. People will grab the link and give it to other places and not note what they used but it may be better. Maybe Tony can get a volunteer CAG to distribute them via pm for those who give feedback for the FTP store or something else.

Actually this is a pretty good idea but to piggy back on this idea I was wondering if the CAG steam group is private? Like are any of the posts private? If so I was thinking maybe we could get Tony added on the CAG steam group, and then he would post in there the link, so that way you really have to be on CAG in order to get these keys, because he can set the privacy on the document so you need the link, and as long as no one in our CAG group reveals said link it would stay with us, the CAG community. Again only if the CAG Steam group's posts are completely private and someone could add him as an admin or whatever needed to allow him to post there.

I think it depends on how many duplicate keys you try to redeem. If you hit the minimum limit, I'd expect the cooldown to be shorter than it would be for someone that attempts 10+ keys over the minimum.

Ya could be. So I guess when you start getting "invalid product key" just stop or do up another account.
 
I think there is a second steam group that does trades and group buys, and I remember reading that you can only join through invitations.

Maybe we can set up something similar
 
In my experience, the lockout period is independent of the number of codes you try. When I tried to get a code from the Dwarfs?! DLC code drop, I was consistently locked out for exactly an hour on the sixth duplicate code. They could've changed the time since, but that's how it was working a week ago.

I'm guessing this is a new list than the one posted this morning, cause I was going to kill the 2 codes I used this morning, but they are different than the CD keys Steam is reporting for those items, so I'll leave them in the list just to be sure.

Picked up the THQ pack earlier today, what and awesome deal! Still thinking about Sniper Elite V2, not sure how much I would enjoy that game but it is a good deal as well.
