As of today, Amazon.com will be offering Free to Play and MMO games that you can purchase virtual goods, currencies, and subscriptions for on Amazon.com. These purchases will be delivered directly into your game account. We're calling this new service Game Connect.

Amazon has teamed up with our launch partners to bring Amazon customers exclusive content and bonus offers for the opening of the Free to Play store. Here is some of the cool stuff you'll get just for linking your Amazon account with a game account:


Super MNC: Customers who link their Amazon account with a Super MNC account will receive an exclusive Team Spirit Assault Rifle. This weapon for the Assault Pro has a unique, team colored, metal barrel shroud and is only available through Amazon.




Stronghold Kingdoms: Customers who link their Amazon accounts with a Stronghold Kingdoms account will receive a starter pack valued at $10. This pack includes: 10 packs of strategy cards (50 cards), 100 card points, and a 7 day premium token (7 days of Premium).



Shin Megami Tensei: Customers who link their Amazon accounts with a Shin Megami Tensei account will receive a free Incense of Training. By making a purchase of 3,500 Crowns, customers will also receive a voucher (Candle), which is exchangeable for a Heart Candle Necklace. Customers who reach level 20 during the 12 week launch period, they will receive another voucher (Depository Rental Ticket).

Allods: Customers who link their Amazon accounts with an Allods account will receive an exclusive starter package, valued at $15. Fiesta: Customers who purchase SparkCash to use in Fiesta will receive a 30-day swift and mighty Dark Pegasus Mount.


8BitMMO: Customers who link their Amazon accounts with an 8BitMMO account will receive three, exclusive, brand-new hats. These hats are a Cowboy Hat, a Blue Baseball Cap, and a Duck. Link your account and start your 8 bit adventure today.

Aika: Customers who link their Amazon accounts with an Aika account will receive an exclusive starter package valued at $15. This pack includes a Mount and Mount Saddle. Use the mount to travel far distances in half the time and resist environmental damages. Use the Mount Saddle to lower the requirement to ride other mounts.

Luvinia: Customers who make any purchase of SparkCash to use in Luvinia will receive a 30-day Flying Griffin Mount.

Hmm I recieved two emails from Amazon, Borderlands 2 credit. One had $6 off B2 and the other was $18 off, but only the $6 works. I wouldn't mind paying $35 for B2 even though I already pre-ordered at Greenman gaming for $40. Those $5 could be used for an Amazon Dark Souls preorder... "wink wink"

We have 2 Borderlands 2 offerings a single product and a 4 pack.

The $6 is for the single the $18 for the 4-pack.

I bought Borderlands GOTY on December 24 last year and still got the credit, it's even better cause i bought it for 5.99$ and they gave me a 5$ credit that i used to get Dead Space 2 for free on January :p

Never seen it in any of the Hitman collection packs, not even the damn PS2 pack. Heard it's in licensing hell and that would make sense.

Otherwise, yeah - it's one of the best of the series... so, uh oh, they f*cked up.
just install the regular version of it and add it to your steam using "add non-steam game"
That way your friends and everyone will still see you playing Contracts and probably get all shocked at how you got it lol.

I would, but the $18 off the 4-pack seems to be locked to my account. I can't find any sort of code.

Steam doesn't have Dragon Age 2 to do a combo deal, and DA:O was already on sale during the summer sale.

Just get it either from Amazon or redeem the key in Origin and save yourself the trouble.

As others have said, it's not a code. It's tied to your account and the discount comes off automatically when you reach the checkout.

There's a licensed song called "Immortal" by Clutch in Hitman: Contracts, which never got it license re-newed. That's why it ain't been sold digitally on Steam or any other digital service right now.

I don't know why they (the dev's or the publisher) just don't go on and replace the song w/ something else; or just have no song there; or even re-new the rights to the song.
 
Also I got a quick question if anyone has any insight. The Borderlands 2 four pack from Amazon. In the little promotional box on the website it says"

"Additionally, all pre-orders of Borderlands 2 or the Borderlands 2 Four Pack will get access to the Borderlands 2 Premiere Club, which includes a Golden Key, Vault Hunter's Relic, Gearbox Gunpack, and new Mechromancer class. Access code will be e-mailed within two days after the game releases. This offer will be extended to all pre-orders. Limit one per customer. Amazon reserves the right to change or terminate this promotion at any time. "

Now does this mean that if you buy the 4 pack you only get 1 access code to the Borderlands 2 premiere club? Or does everyone who adds it to steam get one?
 
Darn, considering I have already purchased Borderlands 1 twice (standard and GOTY) and neither was from Amazon, I may just go with the Steam 4-pack. I prefer to host, and this way I am covered on the very slim chance that any TF2 items or anything like that get added in.

I had a physical copy preordered from Amazon back on February 22nd for $49.96, but I'll have to get rid of that order.

Is it also possible, if provided, for the CoD games to be redeemable on Steam?

Please consider putting the Borderlands DLC on sale too for those of us who already have the base game and some DLC. You'd actually be price matching Steam by doing this, but I prefer to buy from Amazon when possible.

will spec ops be on sale at $25 again on Saturday or did i read the date wrong? because i missed the sale last time so i need to make sure i get it this time around, bunch of friends have told me that the story of the game is excellent

Yes if you buy Borderlands GOTY right now you will get an $18 credit towards the 4-pack, currently priced at $161, so your 4-pack preorder will be $161-$18.

Never tried Borderlands before this free weekend on Steam. Why did I wait so long? Just spent two hours having an insane amount of shooting fun. Now I'm off to use the $10 credit from purchasing ME3 on Amazon to get Borderlands for free. NICE deal, Tony!
