F.A.Q's

What is Amazon Warehouse Deals?
Warehouse Deals is part of amazon that has open box, generally like new items.

Is the Amazon Warehouse Deals return policy the same as Amazon's return policy?
Yes, All purchases are eligible for Amazon customer service and 30 day return policy.

I'm using the games sort by console link, and the games will not sort by price properly. What is wrong?
You aren't doing anything wrong, the sort by price feature on Amazon is broken

I'm waiting for a 360, ps3, 3ds, or PS Vita to pop up.. What time do they usually appear?
They can show up any time, the best way to find it is have the item tabbed on your browser, and download an auto refresh app and frequently check it... Sometimes they will not pop up on amazon warehouse deals storefront, you will need to check the "used" section of the item

Why did all the prices of games randomly jump up?
Games on warehouse deals generally go on a cycle. They will get extremely low, great deals.. Then they will jump back up and restart the cycle of falling in price again.

I have a gaming credit and/or an Amazon gift card. Can both of these be applied to Warehouse Deals orders?
Gift cards can be applied to orders made on warehouse deals, however video game credit is only good for items shipped and sold by "amazon.com", warehouse deals does not count as this.

What was Penny Deals?
In early September of 2011, tons of newer release, more expensive games popped up for 1 penny each. Many CAG members placed orders, expecting them to get cancelled. Some were cancelled, however many CAGS got a large amount of games for a penny each. There has been no confirmation what exactly happened and why these games were sold for a penny.

What condition are products from Warehouse Deals generally in?
Usually, games are re-shrinked wrap and almost in perfect condition. Any game i have personally ever bought has in like new condition. However, some people have reported that games were scratched with stickers on the insert. Consoles are also usually reported in like new or new condition with box damage. Rarely, a console may be missing a key component such as a power brick. Games listed in "acceptable" condition likely have very beaten up cases, or are missing cases, and are in not so great condition, but generally have a working game disc.

Here is an example of a like new handheld (PS Vita) - Thanks Slixshot

I bought it for $24.15 before tax at the end of June when it was on sale new.
Thanks I think thats what Im going to do since I have never played a Animal Crossing game. I feel 30.00 New maybe anything under 25.00 used would make me jump.

It has been cheaper but fluctuates between $17.xx (for acceptable) to $29.xx (for like new depending on the price cycle). Tends to hold value though so it is worth it below $25.
Thanks for the heads up. Fairly new 3ds XL owner so I'm a bit of a newb for this console. I'm on the prowl for some backlog since I own every PS4 game worth while which is like 3 games lol.

Is that a good deal on the Wii U? I've been wanting to get one. The 32GB is the better model, right?

I'm baffled here. Why is a LN White 8GB model $277 on warehouse deals, but the LN Black 32GB only $211?

I think Gamestop and other retailers had bundles with Mario or Zelda for around $250 right after Christmas. If so, this doesn't seem like that great of a deal. It could have been $300 for them, though.

I can't explain the white one's price, but Gamestop has the white bundle with Skylanders for $275 right now, so I would assume the white pricing on Amazon just hasn't been updated to a reasonable level. EDIT: I think there was also a Skylanders bundle on eBay recently for $220 which seems like an exceptional deal if you want Skylanders.

I'm waiting for a 32GB to be less than $200 new before I dive in.

how was frozen? Been thinking of taking the kids to that .
As a whole quite good. It was very Disney formulaic but they put a decent twist on it. It was still far too misogynistic with a lot of the standard tropes that are prevalent in Disney movies but at least the main character grew beyond them in the end. Was sort of opposite of Brave to me where the main character is strong throughout the movie but feels like a cop out into standard fare at the end. Anyway, great music and awesome visuals. Slightly scary bits but talking with my three year old while we watched it was nothing too bad.

meh brave was honestly to short for me and I felt like nothing really happened.  I expected to get to know the characters alot more.

I really didnt like Brave either.    Didnt connect to any of the characters and didnt like the messages in the movie.

On topic, $211 for a LN Wii U is pretty good....but I really need to hold out for sub $200.  Cant justify it right now.

Brave was good, but Frozen was excellent. Enough to interest us in getting the Frozen video game. That's saying a lot considering we KNOW how great movie tie-in video games are. Speaking of, anyone see it on AWD yet?

Don't get me wrong, Frozen as a whole is quite good.  There were just a lot of those Disney movie moments that have really sent the wrong messages to little girls over the years.  A lot of that is used towards the ultimate conclusion of the film but they're still there and it's unlikely young kids will really understand or be able to separate the two sets of messages in the film and how they relate to the story.  Just rubbed me wrong and felt like an otherwise awesome picture leaning too heavily on the tropes that Disney was built on a little too often.

not saying brave didn't have its charming moments though. worst part was probably the whole forced marriage thing and girl power just for the sake of it since its the "in" thing.

I couldn't disagree more. I took my little girl to see it and I thought it was refreshing that it was about the princesses taking care of business themselves, and that they didn't need a man to save them. I thought this was a nice departure from the typical princess in a tower format.

Completely agree, I thought Frozen offered a nice departure from the typical damsel in distress saved by the charming prince conclusion.

I didn't see it, but my girlfriend and her family took her little brother (10) to see it for his birthday. None of them had any idea that it was a princess movie. From all of the commercials and advertising I've seen on it, I have to agree. I (and they) think the ads make it look like the movie focuses around the funny snowman and the other two are his friends or something like that.

I don't understand why portraying men and women having different strengths is a bad thing. Princesses don't have to be like men to be strong.

God, I hate Olaf. He wasn't that bad but he just had absolutely no point. All he was there for was to be a marketable Mater-like character. Otherwise I thought it was fantastic.

Pretty sure he was there to teach us what happens to snowmen during the summer cuz I did not see that (puddle) coming.

Misogynistic? Frozen? We must have seen different movies.

Say what you will about the Disney Princess culture, but at least they're taking steps in the right direction. Female protagonists/heroines... males were props and not the heroes to the damsels in distress, etc.

I can see a few missteps here and there, especially the barely there dress worn by one of the girls towards the end of the movie.

But c'mon, you're reaching. For crissake, it wasn't Legend of the Overfiend.

Now that fucking Olaf Quest 3DS game, absolutely misogynistic. And the ludonarrative dissonance on display... just sickening.

:)

On a serious note, I had issue with how the movie dealt with the parent's demise. I literally blinked, saw great water physics for half a second, a veil thrown over a portrait... tada, no more explanation or emotion given to the tragic event. Parents? Who needs them? They're good for setting up the royal setting, but they can't carry a tune and unless they're villainous, we can't really push the merch of a goody two shoe mom and dad, eh?

Also, baby troll was totes racist and ageist.

On topic and semi-related:

Anyone think Imagine Babiez is worth $8 and change?

Darn, if people are willing to buy an acceptable Tales of Symphonia for that much, I feel gypped for my very good/like new copy selling for less than 22, though it was a player's choice version.

I just had a moment of weakness and bought an acceptable 3ds xl for $118. Can anyone help put my mind at ease? Anyone ordered an acceptable handheld and received something in decent condition?

I got an acceptable blue/black about a month ago and it came in flawless condition. It looked like it had been opened and the AR cards were missing, but the system went straight to set up. There were no scratches or markings of any kind and it's been working perfectly. Hope you're lucky too.

I would say from what Pixar movies I've seen A Bugs Life was the worst. But i still enjoyed it. I did hear planes was pretty bad though.
