F.A.Q's

What is Amazon Warehouse Deals?
Warehouse Deals is part of amazon that has open box, generally like new items.

Is the Amazon Warehouse Deals return policy the same as Amazon's return policy?
Yes, All purchases are eligible for Amazon customer service and 30 day return policy.

I'm using the games sort by console link, and the games will not sort by price properly. What is wrong?
You aren't doing anything wrong, the sort by price feature on Amazon is broken

I'm waiting for a 360, ps3, 3ds, or PS Vita to pop up.. What time do they usually appear?
They can show up any time, the best way to find it is have the item tabbed on your browser, and download an auto refresh app and frequently check it... Sometimes they will not pop up on amazon warehouse deals storefront, you will need to check the "used" section of the item

Why did all the prices of games randomly jump up?
Games on warehouse deals generally go on a cycle. They will get extremely low, great deals.. Then they will jump back up and restart the cycle of falling in price again.

I have a gaming credit and/or an Amazon gift card. Can both of these be applied to Warehouse Deals orders?
Gift cards can be applied to orders made on warehouse deals, however video game credit is only good for items shipped and sold by "amazon.com", warehouse deals does not count as this.

What was Penny Deals?
In early September of 2011, tons of newer release, more expensive games popped up for 1 penny each. Many CAG members placed orders, expecting them to get cancelled. Some were cancelled, however many CAGS got a large amount of games for a penny each. There has been no confirmation what exactly happened and why these games were sold for a penny.

What condition are products from Warehouse Deals generally in?
Usually, games are re-shrinked wrap and almost in perfect condition. Any game i have personally ever bought has in like new condition. However, some people have reported that games were scratched with stickers on the insert. Consoles are also usually reported in like new or new condition with box damage. Rarely, a console may be missing a key component such as a power brick. Games listed in "acceptable" condition likely have very beaten up cases, or are missing cases, and are in not so great condition, but generally have a working game disc.

Here is an example of a like new handheld (PS Vita) - Thanks Slixshot

I THINK this may be slightly on topic, but does anyone know if I have Amazon gift card credit on my .com (US) site (or cards) if I can use that on the .de (or .uk) Amazon sites? Does amazon automatically auto-convert the currency even though its a gift card?
It doesn't work. They treat the credit from each site differently. I tried to order the european Pixar collection of blu rays and it wouldn't let me move my credit over no matter what I tried. Called customer service and they said that due to exchange rates they won't do it.

Darn, okay.  That's what I figured - they had a few games WAY cheaper on the .de site that I was looking at and was hoping to just use some of my credit.  Oh well.  Thanks for letting me know! :)

Just wondering, how do you guys know if a game is a dinger or not? Like if a product is "Good" and the description only says "Packaging may be damaged" or that there's a crack in the case, would that be a dinger? While something that says the shrink wrap is missing and the activation codes may be missing is probably a trade-in?

Seems legit:

It's not an exact science, more of a guessing game really. Likely dingers usually go into specifics a bit more. Something along the lines of "Small wrinkle/bend on set case." It's also more likely that you'll get a dinger if the item comes in something other than a plastic dvd/blu case (though those do exist).

PS4: Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag - (VG) $41.28, (LN) $44.22

Thank you very much, Then I will ordered a used one.

How about splinter blacklist? Is it similar to AC4?
Don't quote me on this since I played Blacklist before Ubi got rid of the online passes, but I'd imagine it'd be a similar situation where they ask for an online pass that you can download for free.

This is the 3rd Ghosts I've purchased within the last week... why can't Ryse or Forza pop up already?!
you could trade them for Ryse and Forza in the CAG buy/sell/trade forums.

im pretty sure someone would trade Ryse for Ghosts since Ryse is short but its still good B^), chapter 5 D: D: jeez haha

same for Forza as well i assume.

Okay, thanks for the answer. That definitely give me a better idea of what to look for.

Entirely different company. Still worthwhile since it's not like I never buy anything else off Amazon.

I get all my cheap earbuds and cheaper old games there :3 lol

lol, you are brave with the earbuds

their cheap but take a long time cus their from china and hong kong lol but they always are good quality

i thought you bought the ear buds from amazon warehouse as used.

no i looked on actual amazon and they were like 2$ and some change for the earbuds shipped

My little one has finally talked me into taking the plunge into the Skylanders money pit. What is a good buy point for these figures? Is AWD a good place to get them?
I'd say 75% I've bought from AWD and they all came out great. Since most basic figures retail for $10, anything more than half off I usually pull the trigger.

So my :ps3: Grand Theft Auto V came in.  It appears that someone traded in a sealed copy from the PS3 system bundle, as it has a not for resale UPC.  However, someone put a different barcode over that with Scotch tape.  It was kind of weird.

They probably did that so it'd be accepted as a trade-in, which is pretty smart IMO.

Want the toshiba ssd pro from amazon but still waiting for the credit from my trade in to post. Recently bought a laptop with regular hdd and can't stand it anymore. First world problems.
