F.A.Q's

What is Amazon Warehouse Deals?
Warehouse Deals is part of amazon that has open box, generally like new items.

Is the Amazon Warehouse Deals return policy the same as Amazon's return policy?
Yes, All purchases are eligible for Amazon customer service and 30 day return policy.

I'm using the games sort by console link, and the games will not sort by price properly. What is wrong?
You aren't doing anything wrong, the sort by price feature on Amazon is broken

I'm waiting for a 360, ps3, 3ds, or PS Vita to pop up.. What time do they usually appear?
They can show up any time, the best way to find it is have the item tabbed on your browser, and download an auto refresh app and frequently check it... Sometimes they will not pop up on amazon warehouse deals storefront, you will need to check the "used" section of the item

Why did all the prices of games randomly jump up?
Games on warehouse deals generally go on a cycle. They will get extremely low, great deals.. Then they will jump back up and restart the cycle of falling in price again.

I have a gaming credit and/or an Amazon gift card. Can both of these be applied to Warehouse Deals orders?
Gift cards can be applied to orders made on warehouse deals, however video game credit is only good for items shipped and sold by "amazon.com", warehouse deals does not count as this.

What was Penny Deals?
In early September of 2011, tons of newer release, more expensive games popped up for 1 penny each. Many CAG members placed orders, expecting them to get cancelled. Some were cancelled, however many CAGS got a large amount of games for a penny each. There has been no confirmation what exactly happened and why these games were sold for a penny.

What condition are products from Warehouse Deals generally in?
Usually, games are re-shrinked wrap and almost in perfect condition. Any game i have personally ever bought has in like new condition. However, some people have reported that games were scratched with stickers on the insert. Consoles are also usually reported in like new or new condition with box damage. Rarely, a console may be missing a key component such as a power brick. Games listed in "acceptable" condition likely have very beaten up cases, or are missing cases, and are in not so great condition, but generally have a working game disc.

Here is an example of a like new handheld (PS Vita) - Thanks Slixshot

*sigh* This is what happens when Amazon doesn't have a restock. Amazon, for the sake of all the normal people in this thread, please have a restock.

Anybody get the wrong system sent to you recently? I bought a 32 GB Black Wii U from AWD, only to receive a Black Wii (it was barcoded incorrectly). Did you get something back in addition to your refund?

WOW. The :wiiu: Super Mario 3D World I bought last week doesn't even work! As soon as I select the game, the logo screen will come up, but it never loads past that. Other games load just fine.

Anyone else hear of this problem?

Looks like I'll have to keep an eye out for this all over again. I've been trying to play this game with my friend for the last month, but something always goes wrong.

I think EldritchOnRye had a similar problem with Zelda .

someone on AWD saw a black wii u. replaced it with their black wii and then sent it back

But its not for our use ;)
Exactly...it went straight to GS. They wouldn't take it though because of the adaptor. I wouldn't buy it for myself either. I just thought it was strange that Amazon didn't check it. That was the second one I ordered from that company through the warehouse. The first one was fine.

I got a bad Zelda WWHD. Disc looked pristine. I contacted support and they offered a new one in its place, though I was apparently lucky as another person got a bad disc multiple times and never got offered a new one as a replacement.

I have been pretty lucky dealing with Amazon via chat . Is that the rout you chose?

Thanks!  Grabbed it.  Gonna flip it to BB for 20k in credit, then purchase the little Geek Squad VW Beetle that I see around town with the credit.

Not sure where to ask or if I'll get frowned upon by asking, but if I get a package from amazon, can I go to UPS and ask to return to sender to avoid paying shipping fees?

No you have to refuse the package at delivery to avoid fees, if its not as described or defective then you can ship it back at their cost but be warned don't abuse for possible ban

I'm getting kind of worried about AWD above and beyond the dropping inventory.  Commonly available things are showing up for above MSRP rather frequently, prices aren't adjusting to match the current Amazon price like they were, and things are just generally... off.  Hopefully it's just a symptom of the drought and not AWD hacking up blood as it dies.

Slow time since its holiday season and ppl buying stuff instead of selling, computers prob adjusting due to low inventory so higher then norm prices if I had to guess

I just figure most people have no reason to return things until after the holidays. Amazon's extended return period runs until January 31st or something so I doubt we'll see a big restock until mid-January.

Hopefully it's not too much longer, I've started applying credit to some of my BF purchases. :whee:

So depressing when there isn't any AWD deals. I just bought 5 slim AC adapters to trade to Gamestop to buy more Kindle cards to spend on nothing. I have faith though.
