F.A.Q's

What is Amazon Warehouse Deals?
Warehouse Deals is part of amazon that has open box, generally like new items.

Is the Amazon Warehouse Deals return policy the same as Amazon's return policy?
Yes, All purchases are eligible for Amazon customer service and 30 day return policy.

I'm using the games sort by console link, and the games will not sort by price properly. What is wrong?
You aren't doing anything wrong, the sort by price feature on Amazon is broken

I'm waiting for a 360, ps3, 3ds, or PS Vita to pop up.. What time do they usually appear?
They can show up any time, the best way to find it is have the item tabbed on your browser, and download an auto refresh app and frequently check it... Sometimes they will not pop up on amazon warehouse deals storefront, you will need to check the "used" section of the item

Why did all the prices of games randomly jump up?
Games on warehouse deals generally go on a cycle. They will get extremely low, great deals.. Then they will jump back up and restart the cycle of falling in price again.

I have a gaming credit and/or an Amazon gift card. Can both of these be applied to Warehouse Deals orders?
Gift cards can be applied to orders made on warehouse deals, however video game credit is only good for items shipped and sold by "amazon.com", warehouse deals does not count as this.

What was Penny Deals?
In early September of 2011, tons of newer release, more expensive games popped up for 1 penny each. Many CAG members placed orders, expecting them to get cancelled. Some were cancelled, however many CAGS got a large amount of games for a penny each. There has been no confirmation what exactly happened and why these games were sold for a penny.

What condition are products from Warehouse Deals generally in?
Usually, games are re-shrinked wrap and almost in perfect condition. Any game i have personally ever bought has in like new condition. However, some people have reported that games were scratched with stickers on the insert. Consoles are also usually reported in like new or new condition with box damage. Rarely, a console may be missing a key component such as a power brick. Games listed in "acceptable" condition likely have very beaten up cases, or are missing cases, and are in not so great condition, but generally have a working game disc.

Here is an example of a like new handheld (PS Vita) - Thanks Slixshot

My Luigi's Mansion 2 finally showed up today.  I ordered it on the 18th, didn't ship until the 28th.

Looks new besides plastic wrap, and thankfully there was only one sticker on it, where the bar code is, not the round one that makes it impossible to open.

Damnit, missed the rune factory. Also, if anyone can help:

This isn't AWD related, but I bought a copy of the first Professor Layton from a third party seller (who actually turned out to be from china, no mention anywhere on their page of this) and it's clearly fake. Shitty plastic everywhere and awful printing quality. Any tips on how I should go about getting my credit back?

I got my Wii U Disney Infinity Starter Kit delivered. The box had a lot of crud and dirt on the bottom and there was some hair stuck to the bottom of the box. The sticker seal (not the one from Warehouse Deals) was still on the box at the top and inside the game was factory sealed and all the accessories were wrapped in plastic so it looks like it is brand new. I wasn't planning on keeping the box anyway so I'm really happy with the condition, especially for $18.

First, go to seller feedback on your orders page for that order and leave the lowest feedback you can - 1 star I believe is the lowest. Clearly state that the seller sold you a bootlegg, fake copy from China. Then contact amazon via chat or phone and tell them the product is a bootlegg and they should refund your money.

apparently amazon is going to start a new program soon where it ships stuff before people even order them based on your shopping purchases and browsing history lol wonder how many games we might receive and not know why we received them I can imagine lots of problems with this if it isn't implemented right and hassles http://www.forbes.com/sites/onmarketing/2014/01/28/why-amazons-anticipatory-shipping-is-pure-genius/
Haha, I don't think they will ship anything we didn't order. I think they will have certain stuff prepackaged trying to predict we will order that item. Therefore saving some time on shipping and handling.

Stupidest thing I have heard recently

probably right lol but being how retailers are anymore never know cause in the article they did compare if to the old Columbia house cd club idk if you familiar with that old membership club but i had that when I was younger they used to randomly ship cds you didn't order and if you wanted them you kept them and they charged the info on file and if u didn't want the cds you would have to ship the cds back by a specific date to prevent charge idk I just thought it was weird of amazon if amazon is indeed trying something like that especially after their stupid drone ideas

sounds like its a way to put a shipping center in your state and skirt the tax issue...

Besides, stockpiling call of duty games, 50 shades novels, blu ray players and movies near big cities sounds like a logical plan to cut shipping costs for shit you know is gonna sell.

The part about anticipating "your needs" sounds like a marketing thing just to make you feel better about the fact that a retailer can anticipate shit you will def. buy.

Nope, it means they will attempt to predict what items are in higher demand in certain areas and try to stock those items in a hub closer by, anticipating that people will buy it. They won't charge you and send you a random item without you ordering it.

Sounds brilliant to me. Based on the data they've collected, I'm sure they could easily save a lot of money with this new method. It's funny how Amazon continues to revolutionize online shopping... while most other big name retailers haven't done a damn thing to change how they handle their online sales. I understand Target and Wal-Mart are doing well with their B&M stores, but just think of the revenue that could be made by spending money in online sales research. I just feel like a lot of ground is to be made in online sales advancement over the next decade. Online shopping and digital content is the future - it seems like other retailers had better hope aboard before Amazon gets too far in front.

Also, online groceries. Wal-Mart, make it happen (for us smaller cities anyway - I'm aware something like this is available in larger cities).

Then again, what do I know? I'm just a budget gamer with a vision.  :D/

You gotta understand too walmart's target demographic probably doesn't use online as much. Even if they went online centric, unless they were cheaper than amazon I would stay with amazon most of the time because I would rather give amazon my money. Sure, they may not care about me and are all about money but they at least make me feel like they do.

Got Luigi's Mansion and NSMB2 in today... Freaking love Luigi's Mansion so far! Tho I don't know why, but I absolutely hate NSMB2. It feels like the same crap as all the other classic Mario Games. Am I missing something? Any amazing twists to the formula that's later? I haven't played a Mario game in years and it feels stale.
Don't waste your time with NSMB2. Its the same old game rehashed the zillionth time. Sell it off to some dumb idiot who hasn't played a Mario game in decades.

I actually happen to know one such dumb idiot first hand! Me!

$20 shipped to Sacramento, CA? :)
