F.A.Q's

What is Amazon Warehouse Deals?
Warehouse Deals is part of amazon that has open box, generally like new items.

Is the Amazon Warehouse Deals return policy the same as Amazon's return policy?
Yes, All purchases are eligible for Amazon customer service and 30 day return policy.

I'm using the games sort by console link, and the games will not sort by price properly. What is wrong?
You aren't doing anything wrong, the sort by price feature on Amazon is broken

I'm waiting for a 360, ps3, 3ds, or PS Vita to pop up.. What time do they usually appear?
They can show up any time, the best way to find it is have the item tabbed on your browser, and download an auto refresh app and frequently check it... Sometimes they will not pop up on amazon warehouse deals storefront, you will need to check the "used" section of the item

Why did all the prices of games randomly jump up?
Games on warehouse deals generally go on a cycle. They will get extremely low, great deals.. Then they will jump back up and restart the cycle of falling in price again.

I have a gaming credit and/or an Amazon gift card. Can both of these be applied to Warehouse Deals orders?
Gift cards can be applied to orders made on warehouse deals, however video game credit is only good for items shipped and sold by "amazon.com", warehouse deals does not count as this.

What was Penny Deals?
In early September of 2011, tons of newer release, more expensive games popped up for 1 penny each. Many CAG members placed orders, expecting them to get cancelled. Some were cancelled, however many CAGS got a large amount of games for a penny each. There has been no confirmation what exactly happened and why these games were sold for a penny.

What condition are products from Warehouse Deals generally in?
Usually, games are re-shrinked wrap and almost in perfect condition. Any game i have personally ever bought has in like new condition. However, some people have reported that games were scratched with stickers on the insert. Consoles are also usually reported in like new or new condition with box damage. Rarely, a console may be missing a key component such as a power brick. Games listed in "acceptable" condition likely have very beaten up cases, or are missing cases, and are in not so great condition, but generally have a working game disc.

Here is an example of a like new handheld (PS Vita) - Thanks Slixshot

I don't know if I would pull the trigger on one if I saw it, but I'm so curious to see if Vitas pop up like when the 3DS launched.

What was the cheapest 3DS's were popping up for? Wondering how low we can expect to see the wi-fi.

When they went for $250, I bought mine for $175 through Secondipity. Look there for a 3DS. Man, they have some kick ass deals (I'm serious). Plus some of the money helps outs kid's in serious need of elementary education.

As a mater of fact, when I orderd my 3DS, they included a car charger and nice leather case. The description said nothing about it. I was so happy.

Randomly browsing WD and stumbled upon a Vita. Was going to wait for a cheap WiFi model but whatever. Going to sell my 3DS and get some of my money back

Cool! I'm sticking with my wifi one though. Although, I would love to see some vita games pop up now.

I think all warehouse deals games are resealed, if they are used.

Yea, it's something new I noticed myself. They reseal it and put that white sticker on the back of the case.

^ I've been getting lucky with those lately actually. No sticker on the inside, just one on the outside. Thinking they were all still originally sealed.

They would have the factory sticker still on them if they were originally sealed. Not to mention Amazon wouldn't be selling them as used.
Just as an FYI, this deal is part of Amazon's Deals of the Week, so it should last for at least a little while.
Shows up for 11.64 for me, and just tried to get it changed through a Live Chat, no luck. Should I try again, or just cancel ordering the game?

He means the AWD sticker is on the outside of the original packaging and not on the inside of an AWD re-seal because it's still factory sealed.

And yes, AWD does sell new/sealed games as used if they get them traded in that way or if they have damaged new stock, etc.

I've traded in new/sealed copies to Amazon multiple times before, and have received 2 games that were factory sealed even though I bought them used from AWD (not to mention a factory sealed 4GB XBox 360 system I bought in Used-Good condition and a 12 Month XBox Live Gold Card).

It's one of the better features of AWD. The chance at getting lucky with a new copy for used prices. Just an FYI...

I can vouch for this as well.

Is $184 for a 'Used-Good' 360 Elite a decent deal? I was going to get an out of warranty repair for $99, but since I need a new controller anyway I might as well just buy another system. Would've bought the $129 4GB but somebody bought it already.

I'd assume if you trade them in with wrap on, they'd still open it up to verify the contents. At least I'd hope so.

Don't buy Elites or 1st edition 360's. Stick with the 2nd edition (slim).
Remember the red ring is predominant and you don't know what the last person did with them. It's common for dumbasses to stick their 360's in tight places and the heat kills it and then return it "cuz it ain't working".
I don't really want to lose compatibility with my hard drive, but if that $129 deal comes along again I'll probably bite.
You can remove the hard drive from the old casing and put it into a slim. This is what I did when I unloaded my fat 360.

Personally I would wait for another 4gb 360 slim to appear on WD. They show up from $119-$149 several times per week.

That one PS3 160gb Good condition that showed up this week for $162,

is that regular here on AWD or is that price hard to come by?

Somewhat rare. $174 (v. good) and $187 (like new) are more common. $149 (acceptable) is the lowest i've seen.

The most common price I see them listed at are $187 for Like New. They pop up pretty regularly for that amount. $162 is much more rare...

I don't think so. As mentioned, I've both bought and traded sealed items in used condition from AWD and we've had many reports from CAGs stating the same in this thread and the previous AWD Thread. I think the number of factory sealed items sold at/bought from AWD would be much less if they actually opened all of those New item trade-ins.

I think it's more likely that the items they receive traded in that are New, they sell as Like New and the items that are New/Damaged Stock are sold in varying conditions (such as the Good Condition sealed XBox 360 Console I got with a dented box).

Hard to say for sure though...

This is off topic but a warehouse question.... Has anyone bought power tools from the warehouse? If so how was your purchase?

I've also received a brand new, sealed game from AWD sold as Used - Like New. The game was still in it's original shrink wrap, had the AWD sticker on the original shrink wrap, and then was shrink wrapped again.

Just to add to the discussion, I've received quite a few factory sealed games sold in varying conditions. I've gotten a few "acceptable" collectors editions that were brand new with a small dent on the box.
This is off topic but a warehouse question.... Has anyone bought power tools from the warehouse? If so how was your purchase?
I have purchased kitchen appliances previously and they've been as described (never had one that looked used in any way, but I don't buy "acceptable").

I also just received a kettlebell I ordered from AWD as "very good" and it's brand new w/ box damage.

Not exactly what you're looking for I know, but I've spent probably 1k on AWD and had only 2 negative experiences, which CS handled to my satisfaction. I'm sure the same standards apply no matter the department.
