F.A.Q's

What is Amazon Warehouse Deals?
Warehouse Deals is part of amazon that has open box, generally like new items.

Is the Amazon Warehouse Deals return policy the same as Amazon's return policy?
Yes, All purchases are eligible for Amazon customer service and 30 day return policy.

I'm using the games sort by console link, and the games will not sort by price properly. What is wrong?
You aren't doing anything wrong, the sort by price feature on Amazon is broken

I'm waiting for a 360, ps3, 3ds, or PS Vita to pop up.. What time do they usually appear?
They can show up any time, the best way to find it is have the item tabbed on your browser, and download an auto refresh app and frequently check it... Sometimes they will not pop up on amazon warehouse deals storefront, you will need to check the "used" section of the item

Why did all the prices of games randomly jump up?
Games on warehouse deals generally go on a cycle. They will get extremely low, great deals.. Then they will jump back up and restart the cycle of falling in price again.

I have a gaming credit and/or an Amazon gift card. Can both of these be applied to Warehouse Deals orders?
Gift cards can be applied to orders made on warehouse deals, however video game credit is only good for items shipped and sold by "amazon.com", warehouse deals does not count as this.

What was Penny Deals?
In early September of 2011, tons of newer release, more expensive games popped up for 1 penny each. Many CAG members placed orders, expecting them to get cancelled. Some were cancelled, however many CAGS got a large amount of games for a penny each. There has been no confirmation what exactly happened and why these games were sold for a penny.

What condition are products from Warehouse Deals generally in?
Usually, games are re-shrinked wrap and almost in perfect condition. Any game i have personally ever bought has in like new condition. However, some people have reported that games were scratched with stickers on the insert. Consoles are also usually reported in like new or new condition with box damage. Rarely, a console may be missing a key component such as a power brick. Games listed in "acceptable" condition likely have very beaten up cases, or are missing cases, and are in not so great condition, but generally have a working game disc.

Here is an example of a like new handheld (PS Vita) - Thanks Slixshot

Well for the first time it's being released for 360 AND PS3, so that would make sense...

Received my "Good" condition of Divinity II for $12.99. Surprised and happy it can with both the soundtrack and art book. The only problem was some plastic "waviness" on the back but otherwise in great condition.

Only about 17% are for PS3.
I pity that one guy trying to sell his bundle for over $350
I like how he says "Been used for a month, Still brand new." :dunce: Some people shouldn't be breeding, let their idiotic bloodline die already. Too drastic?

Nope. You nailed it.

I looked at Rage early, one guy posted his "Brand new, never played, doesn't come with case or manual."
Good luck on someone selling it. It is an amazing machine that I couldn't possibly think about getting rid of.
People are waiting for dinged box units, not resales. But I'm sure sony appreciates your enthusiasm.

Huh?

I'm not looking for someone to sell it. Im looking for AWD to sell it!

SLIGHTLY OFF-TOPIC: I wanted to follow-up regarding NorAm (d.b.a. SourceMedia, ExpressMedia, and who knows what other names). I recently ordered Kingdom Hearts I & II (PS2) both listed in Like New condition. Both were complete, but neither was Like New. Kingdom Hearts showed normal wear for a 10 year old game, so while not Like New, it was certainly Very Good condition. Kingdom Hearts II on the other hand came with the manual in 3 pieces (cover ripped in 2 and separated from the manual), the disc had (hopefully just) chocolate on it, had clearly been resurfaced, and was in just a standard DVD case. (I'm sending it back.)

In comparison, I also ordered Toy Story 3 (360) from SourceMedia for my son this week and I would say it was in Like New condition.

So, the moral of the story is that with any NorAm seller, you are taking your chances with the condition.

Oh of course! lol So far, I have no complaints about the vita and it's only going to get better with remote play support and upcoming games.

I complain to Amazon every time this type of thing happens, just to make sure they know. They also compensate me. For now though, I'm just done with the sellers you've listed. Too great a proportion of what I ordered came in not even close to the condition they listed it.

Got my Soul Calibur V CE (good condition). Came with a small dent in the collectors edition box. Still sealed. Definitely worth it at the $50. And it shipped to me in a day!

In fairness, if you contact Amazon they'll refund you in full and you get to keep the POS to prevent the seller from shilling it incorrectly again.

It's a FireFox add-on that automatically refreshes the page at set intervals, and alerts you with a noise (or email) when a change on the page is detected.

I gotta download this now.

My "good" copy of Twisted Metal that I was able to order over the weekend arrived. It had no shrink wrap and a crack in the case, which was in the description, but all of the codes worked. I'm happy with my $39 purchase less than a week after release.

I am interested in the vita but I'll wait it out because in my eyes the PSP was sort of useless unless you modded it. It started strong at the beginning but after that was very meh. I'm glad your happy with your purchase but I'll wait a year or so until a price drop and see what unfolds and also see if Sony and other companies continue to support it or eventually treat it like a step child like they did the PSP. Uncharted does look quite epic though.....

I feel the same way, and even with 2 long trips planned this year, I can't invest in the Vita just yet. Uncharted is the ONLY game that interests me out of the launch lineup. I've tried it out in-store, though, and it looks and feels awesome.

Uncharted for PS vita is epic even though it doesn't use all of the Vita's power.

I bought the Vita mostly for JRPGs but Uncharted is an awesome game as well. I might import some games from Japan but they are expensive.

I don't think there are more than a couple of JRPGs announced for vita, and since it's tanking in Japan, that may not be a good reason to buy a vita.

Not this time. They made me send it back...

Launch RPG's are rare and the ones that I do recall weren't exactly good games. Way too early to be making judgments like this. If no other RPG's are announced after E3, then there's reason to worry.

Technically that Dungeon Hunter game is an RPG but I think most people don't concern themselves with the average Western RPG that isn't Bioware or Bethesda-made.

But as for now, Lord of Apocalypse, Tales of Innocence R, Disgaea 3, FFX HD, Persona 4: The Golden, and Ragnarok Odyssey seem to be the JRPG's on the horizon, and some of those are up in the air in terms of localization.

I just got (Like New) Fatal Frame and everything was good but the case wasn't a Ps2 case. it was a replacement case called an Eco-Box. Aside from that I satisfied with the $14 I paid for it. Sorry to hear about your bad experience with them but at least you can return it no problems.

FFXIII-2 Like New came in today in perfect condition. Only way I could tell it wasn't brand new, was it was missing that Microsoft security sticker that's on the side of the case that keeps it closed.

Aren't the developers of the Legend of Heroes games working on a Vita game as well?

My point is that since the console is bombing in japan, if someone's chief interest is in JRPGs, they're probably better off with a 3DS. On the other hand, all of the PSP JRPGs on PSN mean that there will be a healthy JRPG library if those are "new to you."
