F.A.Q's

What is Amazon Warehouse Deals?
Warehouse Deals is part of amazon that has open box, generally like new items.

Is the Amazon Warehouse Deals return policy the same as Amazon's return policy?
Yes, All purchases are eligible for Amazon customer service and 30 day return policy.

I'm using the games sort by console link, and the games will not sort by price properly. What is wrong?
You aren't doing anything wrong, the sort by price feature on Amazon is broken

I'm waiting for a 360, ps3, 3ds, or PS Vita to pop up.. What time do they usually appear?
They can show up any time, the best way to find it is have the item tabbed on your browser, and download an auto refresh app and frequently check it... Sometimes they will not pop up on amazon warehouse deals storefront, you will need to check the "used" section of the item

Why did all the prices of games randomly jump up?
Games on warehouse deals generally go on a cycle. They will get extremely low, great deals.. Then they will jump back up and restart the cycle of falling in price again.

I have a gaming credit and/or an Amazon gift card. Can both of these be applied to Warehouse Deals orders?
Gift cards can be applied to orders made on warehouse deals, however video game credit is only good for items shipped and sold by "amazon.com", warehouse deals does not count as this.

What was Penny Deals?
In early September of 2011, tons of newer release, more expensive games popped up for 1 penny each. Many CAG members placed orders, expecting them to get cancelled. Some were cancelled, however many CAGS got a large amount of games for a penny each. There has been no confirmation what exactly happened and why these games were sold for a penny.

What condition are products from Warehouse Deals generally in?
Usually, games are re-shrinked wrap and almost in perfect condition. Any game i have personally ever bought has in like new condition. However, some people have reported that games were scratched with stickers on the insert. Consoles are also usually reported in like new or new condition with box damage. Rarely, a console may be missing a key component such as a power brick. Games listed in "acceptable" condition likely have very beaten up cases, or are missing cases, and are in not so great condition, but generally have a working game disc.

Here is an example of a like new handheld (PS Vita) - Thanks Slixshot

Guess the stores are going to get what they wished for....I'll probably buy more from local stores. The savings (especially for smaller products) won't be as much with one of the higher sales tax...8.25%.

Has anyone ever gotten amazon to match a lower price on an item after a purchase on AWD? On Monday I bought a home theater system in like new condition for $295.xx , it arrived on Thursday and today I look and they have another one in like new for $279.xx so its a $15 difference after just 4 days of ordering it dropped $15.

Just finished chatting with Amazon CS they said they don't do price matching but the CS rep did give me a $10 credit as a one time courtesy. Amazon CS really is great and I really would not have bothered over the $15 but I just got the system on Thursday and happened to check late Friday and it was already $15 cheaper, at least got it $10 closer to the lower price.

Also if anyone is interested in a great 7.1 Home theater I HIGHLY recommend the one I just got the Onkyo HT-S5400, its 7.1 with a 10'' sub and has 4 HDMI inputs and the sound is INCREDIBLE. It's $330 brand new or $273.xx in Very Good or $279.xx in Like New

Looking to get back into the surround scene. Can you make it 5.1 and still sound right? My room is only 16x15. This looks like a good deal and liked my old Onkyo before it broke.
prototype 2 ps3 $42
Looking at the other sellers - it saddens me to see a game listed as used merely days after it is released that has "no case/instructions." That is definitely stolen.

Not just for Prototype 2 - this happens all the time with games that have been out for 5 minutes.

Just wondering if anyone knows how often 32GB Vita cards show? I know I've seen them mentioned twice for around $66.

Here is a quick rundown of my "situation". I have a 4GB Vita card with about 2GB left, it has Motorstorm RC, Stardust, and StarDrone PSN games as well as Uncharted, Wipeout, Rayman, and Unit 13 saves/patches. I will also be getting around $250 amazon credit which I plan to use on a 32GB card, Resistance Burning Skies, and Gravity Rush, among other games.

Would I be better off waiting for a 32GB card to show on warehouse for $60-65 or just buy the new one for around $86. The main reason I ask this is because no one knows how long amazon is going to keep the price at $86, if they raise it back to $100 (MSRP) then the best warehouse will have is around $80 and who knows when the next one will show up.
I know it sucks for our bottom line, but states are stuggling for income and its an unfair advantage to Amazon. I think once they have to collect tax, it will help B&M stores the produce local jobs. But until then, I will shop Amazon and if its the same price as the stores, I get it on Amazon to save 7.5%. I know its hypocritical of me, but so be it.
I shop amazon for the convenience but i'm ok with paying the local taxes on it too.

fair is fair.

Perhaps even sadder than stealing, I've seen people buy new games and immediately throw out the box and manual.

Yeah I feel like the cards aren't coming up as often as the Vitas themselves pop up.

SMH.

Dang, I would have liked Kingdoms of Amalur at that price. It doesn't have any kind of digital pass or new copy DLC right? Surprising if not, considering it's an EA title...

it has an online pass for a few items and side quests

The game is still fully playable and enjoyable without the patch... if you're not OCD that is.

Has there been a Kinect Star Wars 360 Bundle yet? I've been checking every day since its release but nothing. Usually new systems have a few that pop up, but I haven't seen it.

Yes, two bundles popped out about a couple days ago and was selling at $336.
UC3 is a great playthrough. I loved it.
How are the first two? I hardly play my PS3, but might pick the 3 up.
Uncharted 3 (Good) $23.39

I jumped on this bad boy. I love the UC games b/c I can finish them and turn right around and sell them for as much as--or more than--I paid.
That's actually what I did with UC3 last month. I bought it used for $33 when it came out as part of a B2G1 at GS. Got around to playing it and thought it was good but not worth keeping in my backlog while it lost value, so I traded it back into Best Buy for the same amount when they had the guaranteed $30 plus PUR. I told myself I'd buy it back when it's $10 or $12.
How are the first two? I hardly play my PS3, but might pick the 3 up.
The first one is a solid game, and probably the best game released on PS3 in it's early time period. The second Uncharted is one of my top 10 games of all time.
