What is Amazon Warehouse Deals?
Warehouse Deals is part of amazon that has open box, generally like new items.

Is the Amazon Warehouse Deals return policy the same as Amazon's return policy?
Yes, All purchases are eligible for Amazon customer service and 30 day return policy.

I'm using the games sort by console link, and the games will not sort by price properly. What is wrong?
You aren't doing anything wrong, the sort by price feature on Amazon is broken

I'm waiting for a 360, ps3, 3ds, or PS Vita to pop up.. What time do they usually appear?
They can show up any time, the best way to find it is have the item tabbed on your browser, and download an auto refresh app and frequently check it... Sometimes they will not pop up on amazon warehouse deals storefront, you will need to check the "used" section of the item

Why did all the prices of games randomly jump up?
Games on warehouse deals generally go on a cycle. They will get extremely low, great deals.. Then they will jump back up and restart the cycle of falling in price again.

I have a gaming credit and/or an Amazon gift card. Can both of these be applied to Warehouse Deals orders?
Gift cards can be applied to orders made on warehouse deals, however video game credit is only good for items shipped and sold by "amazon.com", warehouse deals does not count as this.

What was Penny Deals?
In early September of 2011, tons of newer release, more expensive games popped up for 1 penny each. Many CAG members placed orders, expecting them to get cancelled. Some were cancelled, however many CAGS got a large amount of games for a penny each. There has been no confirmation what exactly happened and why these games were sold for a penny.

What condition are products from Warehouse Deals generally in?
Usually, games are re-shrinked wrap and almost in perfect condition. Any game i have personally ever bought has in like new condition. However, some people have reported that games were scratched with stickers on the insert. Consoles are also usually reported in like new or new condition with box damage. Rarely, a console may be missing a key component such as a power brick. Games listed in "acceptable" condition likely have very beaten up cases, or are missing cases, and are in not so great condition, but generally have a working game disc.

If you're more of a DIYer a lot of independent boutique vendors just ship laptops that rely on CLEVO's barebone laptop chasis (especially the ones that can accommodate both desktop and mobile components thus allowing intrepid enthusiasts to troll ebay and trading forums for build components) anyway so you could kill time until the game launches putting a system into one of those.

Thanks. Not necessarily worried about the betas or stress tests, just worried about having one ready to go around the time the game actually launches (or shortly after).

I've been out of PC gaming for a longgggg time, so couple that with a horrible (human) memory and a lot of the DGPU, etc is Klingon to me.

Mostly just looking for something below $500 to replace my 8 year old desktop (Dell Dimension 8300).
 
Opened my Mass Effect 3 LN that I ordered for $28 from Warehouse Deals around the time the new version was the Deal of the Day.

No complaints here, as the two discs look to be in perfect condition and it came with DLC, but the one weird thing was that they are Collector's Edition discs rather than the regular version, but in the regular case.
 
My Samsung Series 3 laptop came today. It was listed as "Used - Good", with the only additional info as "Box is damaged. Item is in excellent condition.". It's pristine, came with battery, AC adapter and a ton of documentation, including a recovery CD. Been using it, and it's just fantastic. I was kind of worried since it was Used - Good. I think because it was refurbished (obviously, there's two Win 7 serials on the bottom, one is X'd out and other says Win 7 Refurb), it shows an OS selection screen on bootup, as if you hit F8 for the boot menu.

I probably won't post pictures.

Not sure if it came like that. Only somewhat visible on a black background, if looking to the right of the screen. Trying to fix them, but yeah...literally the only thing wrong with it. Slow DVD drive, too, but I can certainly deal.

I grabbed the Starcraft 2 demo, and also installed Company of Heroes, and both run quite well at 30-40FPS average on medium to medium-high settings, no AA, and as close to native (1366x768) as I can get it. I might try Diablo 3 if they release a Starter edition, as well. I am so happy with this laptop though. A HUGE upgrade over what I had before (1.3ghz P4, 512 ram, awful GPU). This is without upgrading to 8gb ram and without overclocking at all. Also handles 1080P videos like a champ. I was never even able to play 480p before, so... yeah... finally "getting with the times". :lol:
 
Anyone having a problem viewing some of the items? "Sign up to be notified when this item becomes available." shows up for me.

Man, that sounds like an eight year old laptop. Was it running Windows XP? I'm glad you're enjoying it though. I'm thinking about getting a laptop down the line. I have no need for one right now.

They shouldn't really be sold out. If you search from the main site, you still see they have the item stocked and listed as a warehouse item. I wonder how long it'll be up like this.
 
I waiting for a good PS3 deal to pop up.....All of the PS3 deals on AW right now don't seem like that great of a deal.
 
I pulled the trigger on an "Acceptable" PS3 last week from Warehouse Deals It works fine, just a few scuff marks but smelled like cat pee and cigarettes. Contemplating a return and waiting for a "Very Good" at least.

I'd return it if it really smells like cat piss. Cat piss is one of the hardest smells to get rid of.

Very surprised that Amazon would qualify cat piss and cigarette stink as "acceptable". Maybe if you live in a trailer and get checks from the "gubermint".

My brother took my car out a few months ago and left the windows open at a party. A couple of cats got in and left their mark.

Nothing was able to get that stench out. Not after professional cleaning, not baking soda, not vinegar, not holy water and a rabbi's blessing.

As a cat owner of 20+ years, I've never had a cat pee on anything. I also take very good care of my possessions.

Agreed. I can walk into any house, and tell if they own a cat without ever seeing one. You can do it with all animals to be honest, but cats are one of the worst smelling pets out there, right up with rabbits.

I bought the Onkyo S5400 based off the recommendation of a few CAGs a few weeks ago. Would someone who has one mind sending me a PM with their settings? I know the mic calibrates it, but if there's anything else I should be doing (like Game mode) or other things, I'd greatly appreciate it.

Btw, it was LN and only had one odd cosmetic flaw. One of the "legs" on the subwoofer was at a weird angle bc one if the corners was like shaved off. Don't know how else to describe it. Other than that it was probably new.

In my life experience...it is the dog owners who have no respect for anything. I can't tell you how many times I've found dog shit in my yard. People on my street just let their dogs run around free with no leashes or anything, which actually is against the law in my city. I've called the cops a couple of times because my neighbors seem to think it's ok to let their dogs run through my (and everyone else's) yard. Yet they still don't get it.

On topic, I would just return the cat piss smelling PS3. No reason to keep that thing.

I have some asshole that lets his dog shit on my lawn every few days or so. I'm not exactly sure when it's happening but it's always in the same spot. I can't wait for the day when I catch the asshole doing it. Then I'm going to rub his nose in it, the man not the dog.

If my emachines (old laptop) tried to run SC2, it would catch on fire. Hell, I think it would smolder if I tried to play a 480p video on Youtube. And yes, it had XP.
 
Litter-trained cat - Like new - $100

As a cat owner, I'll just say there are many reasons cats pee outside the litter box, and I've personally never had one that peed randomly on things. But even changing the location of their boxes can cause it, so stfu about irresponsible cat owners unless you have a fucking veterinarian degree.

Seriously though, we have three cats here. I'm not denying they smell, but it's mainly in the rooms they have their litter and it's cat shit that I smell. They don't piss everywhere and their piss isn't as bad as most. The worst is male cats, especially having two or more in a house as well as not giving them enough water and on certain male cats, giving them Tuna/tuna based catfoods.

As for smelling like cats, I don't smell like them because I smell like smoke. Problem solved. :cool:
 
If the cats aren't spayed/neutered then yeah they'll urinate around the house to mark their territory and that'll smell up the house. None of my cats do that, and we keep the litter box in the basement so the smell stays down there. But it only really smells if you neglect to clean it regularly.
