F.A.Q's

What is Amazon Warehouse Deals?
Warehouse Deals is part of amazon that has open box, generally like new items.

Is the Amazon Warehouse Deals return policy the same as Amazon's return policy?
Yes, All purchases are eligible for Amazon customer service and 30 day return policy.

I'm using the games sort by console link, and the games will not sort by price properly. What is wrong?
You aren't doing anything wrong, the sort by price feature on Amazon is broken

I'm waiting for a 360, ps3, 3ds, or PS Vita to pop up.. What time do they usually appear?
They can show up any time, the best way to find it is have the item tabbed on your browser, and download an auto refresh app and frequently check it... Sometimes they will not pop up on amazon warehouse deals storefront, you will need to check the "used" section of the item

Why did all the prices of games randomly jump up?
Games on warehouse deals generally go on a cycle. They will get extremely low, great deals.. Then they will jump back up and restart the cycle of falling in price again.

I have a gaming credit and/or an Amazon gift card. Can both of these be applied to Warehouse Deals orders?
Gift cards can be applied to orders made on warehouse deals, however video game credit is only good for items shipped and sold by "amazon.com", warehouse deals does not count as this.

What was Penny Deals?
In early September of 2011, tons of newer release, more expensive games popped up for 1 penny each. Many CAG members placed orders, expecting them to get cancelled. Some were cancelled, however many CAGS got a large amount of games for a penny each. There has been no confirmation what exactly happened and why these games were sold for a penny.

What condition are products from Warehouse Deals generally in?
Usually, games are re-shrinked wrap and almost in perfect condition. Any game i have personally ever bought has in like new condition. However, some people have reported that games were scratched with stickers on the insert. Consoles are also usually reported in like new or new condition with box damage. Rarely, a console may be missing a key component such as a power brick. Games listed in "acceptable" condition likely have very beaten up cases, or are missing cases, and are in not so great condition, but generally have a working game disc.

Here is an example of a like new handheld (PS Vita) - Thanks Slixshot

Anyone got any recommendations for a good but cheap latptop/ultrabook/netbook? Been looking on AWD but haven't found anything. I have an Asus Republic of Gamers laptop with a 17.3" screen, pretty beast but I want to keep it free from any viruses and mainly use it for gaming. Not to mention it's hard to use it browsing at night.

I'd like a cheap alternative (I have an iPad 1 but it's slow) that I can use for word/excel docs for work and not having to worry about viruses, and being able to take everywhere with me not worrying if something were to happen to it...having a 3-400 laptop break is a lot easier to stomach than a 1300 dollar one.

Well you don't want to worry about viruses, also seems portability is a huge plus for you. I'd say stick to a tablet. Honestly once I got a tablet I never turned back, I have a laptop (HP Envy 15) and I can't remember the last time I actually used it for something (besides college).

The biggest issue with laptops for me is the touchpad vs having a touchscreen where I can access everything with a swipe of a finger.

What do you use for your word/excel docs? I use DocsToGo on my iPad 2 and love it, especially with a BT Keyboard. If you want portability then I seriously wouldn't trash your iPad, maybe sell it (iPad 1 still goes for $200-250 and thats for a standard wifi only one) and upgrade to the 2nd gen or buy a Droid tablet since they come in all sizes, cheaper and has Flash support ;)

Thought about going with an Asus Transformer, but I dunno..if I did the droid route I'd do that. I've basically got $200 credit to blow and it's burning a hole in my pocket for a new toy. I can buy something bigger than $200, I'd like a Macbook Air, but it's just hard for me to pay $1000 for a small laptop with 128GB of memory (I know it's SSD, but still), when I can get a 15.6" Asus laptop from best buy for $300 with a 320GB hard drive that will do everything that will.

I game mostly on my laptop, would you guys recommend getting a 22-24" monitor? I know I could've built a desktop, but I'm not super tech savvy, and I *love* my RoG laptop.

If you want a cheap laptop that will game, go amd a6 or a8 with another gfx card as well. Don't get too large a screen or battery life will suck. Intel processors are amazing but integrated graphics sucks and they are generally more expensive. a 500-600 laptop should game reasonable well with most games.

Building a pc is not very complicated. You basically just buy parts and plug em in. A lot of websites provides tons of info when you build something. You can get a really good pc for 700-800, and a good one for 600. If you don't really need ultra specs in games like bf3, I'd go the cheaper route. CAG has a forum if you are looking to build.

Oh I do wanna build just not right now. Probably in the future when I get some time I'll do it right.

As luck would have it I just found a 15" Asus laptop that was 272 on AWD that had awesome reviews and would supposedly run directX 11 games well. Very pleased, a nice backup laptop (from ASUS no less??!) for under 300? Oh yeah.

Which one was it if you don't mind me asking? Been looking for a new laptop aswell.

Asus A53U 15.6"

Course I'm not buying it for games as my RoG will run BF3 Pretty well since its the flagship
G75 but I may put some diablo 3 and minecraft on this one for breaks at work ;)

I've enjoy my HP netbook. I'm not sure what the model number is, but I guess it's a few years old now. The only thing that sucked was all the programs installed on it, but those can be easily removed. I found it super cheap at Toys R Us.

When I use it in class, I get girls telling me how "cute" it is. I also get asked "Is that a touchscreen!? or is that a tablet!?"

...I go to a really smart school...
I do not understand anything regarding AMD CPUs...

Would you compare that with an i3? With an i5? Or am I comparing bananas with apples here?
Sort of. Comparing AMD and Intel cpu architecture doesn't really work. They work differently.

However, that cpu is weaker than an i3.

For $272 I'm not complaining for a cheap knock around laptop. My main laptop has an i7

That is a great price. I will have to think about it. I was looking at one with intel CPU and a little better specs all around (and it's black which I prefer) for a hundred more. I am hoping the price will dip on it and then I can pick it up. But I may get this one. When you get it let me know how it is.

Honestly with those specs I think diablo 3 would be a struggle it probably will 'run' on the lowest of settings. My guess is Minecraft would be okay and maybe TF2 on low/medium. This laptop is more of a big netbook it's something you use to get things done like e-mail, microsoft office, etc. It's a great price though
Has anyone ever seen Uncharted:GA on awd? If so, how much was it?
I got it for $35 a couple months ago. I think it has been $30 in "good" condition.

Yes plenty of times. It is going between $33 and $35 as of now.

Just got my "like New" ME3 CE and it looks brand new other than some bent corners. I'm not sure if it's been resealed or not with that giant circular tape, but to me it looks new. It'll give you guys an update later tonight when I have time to open it.

I have a new CE to compare mine to. The circular tape should be on top of a squarish seal.
"Packaging is damaged. Item is in excellent condition."

Should be pretty safe, yes?
That's how my Skyrim CE was described and everything was still sealed. The packaging wasn't even really damaged either.
2 Like New :ps3: Max Payne 3 SE $73.46
just got this in the mail today. everything was included and pretty much in brand new condition! awesome awesome awesome

So these Vita first edition bundles... all listed as "Good." Most say "Front of housing has minor cosmetic imperfection." Is that referring to just the packaging?

Not sure I even want a 1st Edition Bundle... are the added items worth the extra cost?

Some look unused, and some--like mine--had some scratches on the back, or things like that. No biggie for me.

Also, the 1st edition bundle is not worth it, IMO. Get the thing as cheap as you can and get a nice memory card, I say.

My stuff came in today. My good FF9 had a black label case with a greatest hits manual. My good Heart of Darkness has a broken hinge with heavy stickering on the front case and it came with the 3D glasses. Both games discs are excellent.
Silent Hill HD Collection PS3 like new $28.88

http://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-list...p_used?ie=UTF8&condition=used&m=A33AYO0FZG6YH

I'm tempted. You guys think that's still too much?
Yup, honestly if Konami had stepped up their game and fixed the framerate issues (mainly on Silent Hill 3) it would be worth the price. But they half-assed this collection.

Honestly, $7.99 is as much as this would probably be worth.

Just reporting in on my Mass Effect 3 CE xbox "very good" condition. The codes were unused and the steal case was bent in the middle. I was able to bend it back in place. Very happy for $26. Hope others were as lucky as me.

Ended up with a copy of the standard edition, so I'm not exactly in a happy place. I'm a PC gamer though, so the lack of having the LE for the 360 doesn't bother me. Just kinda wanted it for collections sake.

Well after carefully removing that damn circular tape from the side of the CE box where you can take out the case and art book (which left a ton of residue on both), I found out that the CE is, indeed, used. Luckily everything was in good shape no scratch marks on both discs, art book was fine, and the N7 patch was still included. Unfortunately, the Collector's edition codes were already redeemed, which kind of broke my heart because I would of enjoyed the robotic dog and the DLC "From Ashes", but all was not lost! For the previous owner did not have the right mind to turn the 48 hour trial over to see the redeemable code for a prop for your xbox avatar the "Normandy SR2" on the other side. Now I have a huge (I mean HUGE) ship floating over my avatar's head, which I say looks awesome. I don't mean to beg, but if anyone has a code for CE they don't want or need I'll gladly take it.

My $26 Very Good Mass Effect 3 CE came in and I am very impressed. There's a small ding on the box and the steelbook has a small bent in it (that I think I can take out), but everything else is in great condition. Codes even work. Only thing missing is the code for the soundtrack, but I don't really want that.
Sounds like a purchase. Done! Thanks for quick reply barrit!
Good luck with whatever you bought. In my experience I have always had good luck with that exact description. With my Skyrim CE, as I described earlier, and with my Soul Calibur V CE (this one wasn't sealed, but everything was included in perfect condition and the DLC was even unused). I think my LoTR: War in the North had the same description as well and was sealed and basically brand new.
PS Vita Wifi for $187.49 Like New

Not really that good of a deal since this usually goes for as low as $160+
Always missing this stuff! Guess it was in the middle of the night so it was inevitable.

Is there any reliable price tracking method? Does camelcamelcamel work with warehouse deals?

I'm going to need everyone to send me a PM as soon as one of these reaches the sub $190 mark!
got one too, never played it but i heard decent things. 4 is a no brainer.
I remember regretting passing on a $5 copy at Blockbuster but it was a generic case and disc only. Now I'll get a complete copy and $4 won't hurt too much.
