F.A.Q's

What is Amazon Warehouse Deals?
Warehouse Deals is part of amazon that has open box, generally like new items.

Is the Amazon Warehouse Deals return policy the same as Amazon's return policy?
Yes, All purchases are eligible for Amazon customer service and 30 day return policy.

I'm using the games sort by console link, and the games will not sort by price properly. What is wrong?
You aren't doing anything wrong, the sort by price feature on Amazon is broken

I'm waiting for a 360, ps3, 3ds, or PS Vita to pop up.. What time do they usually appear?
They can show up any time, the best way to find it is have the item tabbed on your browser, and download an auto refresh app and frequently check it... Sometimes they will not pop up on amazon warehouse deals storefront, you will need to check the "used" section of the item

Why did all the prices of games randomly jump up?
Games on warehouse deals generally go on a cycle. They will get extremely low, great deals.. Then they will jump back up and restart the cycle of falling in price again.

I have a gaming credit and/or an Amazon gift card. Can both of these be applied to Warehouse Deals orders?
Gift cards can be applied to orders made on warehouse deals, however video game credit is only good for items shipped and sold by "amazon.com", warehouse deals does not count as this.

What was Penny Deals?
In early September of 2011, tons of newer release, more expensive games popped up for 1 penny each. Many CAG members placed orders, expecting them to get cancelled. Some were cancelled, however many CAGS got a large amount of games for a penny each. There has been no confirmation what exactly happened and why these games were sold for a penny.

What condition are products from Warehouse Deals generally in?
Usually, games are re-shrinked wrap and almost in perfect condition. Any game i have personally ever bought has in like new condition. However, some people have reported that games were scratched with stickers on the insert. Consoles are also usually reported in like new or new condition with box damage. Rarely, a console may be missing a key component such as a power brick. Games listed in "acceptable" condition likely have very beaten up cases, or are missing cases, and are in not so great condition, but generally have a working game disc.

Here is an example of a like new handheld (PS Vita) - Thanks Slixshot

500gb Assassin's Creed III bundle, 250gb Uncharted Bundle. Get 'em before they're all gone!

Be weary of the descriptions though!
Vita cradle LN - 11.13 (my favorite Vita accessory since I'm sure you were all wondering)

I use the PDP trigger grips. Will this cradle work with those? I have been looking at this one and the CTA cradle and trying to figure out if either will work. I use the PDP grip all the time and don't want to have to take it off to place the Vita in a cradle.

I _think_ it doesn't fit with the pdp grips because of the added depth (the cradle sits snug up against the back of a bare unit to align the port / plug).

Thanks. That's what I figured. I wonder if anyone knows if the CTA cradle might be any better?
Scooped one up to replace my launch 60gb. Thanks for the heads up!
Glad another CAG got one. I'm replacing my launch PS3 as well. With the 500gb hard drive, I'm going to make good use of my PS Plus membership by downloading a lot more games.

Here's hoping that they come in decent shape.

(Never ordered from Warehouse Deals before.)

Does anyone know why some games come sealed while others come unsealed but with an annoying circular plastic sticker on the side of the case? I wouldn't care either way except for the fact that the sticker leaves an incredible amount of sticky residue.

probably value of the game, the stickers are most likely cheaper than sealing a game.

One was "Black Ops II" so I doubt that it has to do with the value (especially since the Darkness II that I ordered for $7 something came sealed).

Use an adhesive remover. I use Max Citrus Power, one spray, the entire sticky residue wipes off in 2 seconds. Come in handy when I want to sell games I no longer want to play :)

Yeah, I use Goo Gone and it works great. I was just a little puzzled as to why some are sealed while others use a sticker... One of life's mysteries I guess. ;)

If you don't want use cleaning products, use a piece of packing tape and just repeatedly stick it over the residue. It will remove it all flawlessly. I started using tape instead of goo gone because all of my game cases were starting to smell like it, and goo gone left behind a greasy feel on the cases.

Yes, i second this. Clear packing tape is your best friend when it comes to sticker residue. lay a piece over the residue, rub it down nice and good, and give it a good rip. Then jet go over the remaining residue with repeated jabs haha. It does work flawlessly. I discovered this about 2 years ago and have been doing it ever since!

remove the cover art, apply a little with a cotton ball, wipe dry with a paper towel, and let them dry completely for 2 days, i use goo gone, they no longer smell like citrus, nor do they feel greasy.

Wait, there was a 32GB Vita card earlier? Never even showed up for me. Damn, I've had that page on auto refresh for like a week and still haven't managed to grab one -.-

Gone through the thread but don't see anything mention about it. It's still 79.99 in the Sony Store but can't get myself to pull the trigger.

Just got my "Like New" copy of :ps2: Dawn of Mana and it was Factory Sealed with the Amazon sticker over the wrapping. Came with the soundtrack as well, also factory sealed. Pretty happy with my purchase.

Packing tape doesn't work on the local game store stickers

just received my 500gb PS3 ACIII bundle I ordered last week. It was 'very good' for about $202.
But I'm sending it back because it doesn't work. Doesn't read any discs at all. It also didn't come in the original packing. Oh wells...
Would anyone mind pm me if you see vita 4 gb card and a black dual shock 3 controller in AWD? I very appreciate it if so.
If you have a Best Buy in your area you can purchase the Killzone Controller bundle for 40 and trade in the game for 25 at Gamestop.
