F.A.Q's

What is Amazon Warehouse Deals?
Warehouse Deals is part of amazon that has open box, generally like new items.

Is the Amazon Warehouse Deals return policy the same as Amazon's return policy?
Yes, All purchases are eligible for Amazon customer service and 30 day return policy.

I'm using the games sort by console link, and the games will not sort by price properly. What is wrong?
You aren't doing anything wrong, the sort by price feature on Amazon is broken

I'm waiting for a 360, ps3, 3ds, or PS Vita to pop up.. What time do they usually appear?
They can show up any time, the best way to find it is have the item tabbed on your browser, and download an auto refresh app and frequently check it... Sometimes they will not pop up on amazon warehouse deals storefront, you will need to check the "used" section of the item

Why did all the prices of games randomly jump up?
Games on warehouse deals generally go on a cycle. They will get extremely low, great deals.. Then they will jump back up and restart the cycle of falling in price again.

I have a gaming credit and/or an Amazon gift card. Can both of these be applied to Warehouse Deals orders?
Gift cards can be applied to orders made on warehouse deals, however video game credit is only good for items shipped and sold by "amazon.com", warehouse deals does not count as this.

What was Penny Deals?
In early September of 2011, tons of newer release, more expensive games popped up for 1 penny each. Many CAG members placed orders, expecting them to get cancelled. Some were cancelled, however many CAGS got a large amount of games for a penny each. There has been no confirmation what exactly happened and why these games were sold for a penny.

What condition are products from Warehouse Deals generally in?
Usually, games are re-shrinked wrap and almost in perfect condition. Any game i have personally ever bought has in like new condition. However, some people have reported that games were scratched with stickers on the insert. Consoles are also usually reported in like new or new condition with box damage. Rarely, a console may be missing a key component such as a power brick. Games listed in "acceptable" condition likely have very beaten up cases, or are missing cases, and are in not so great condition, but generally have a working game disc.

Here is an example of a like new handheld (PS Vita) - Thanks Slixshot
Thank you guys for the help I'll get in touch with the seller and hope it all goes smoothly. I've only returned one thing with amazon do I figure I'll be safe if I have to do a return. I just read these stories about people getting banned and with the amount of credit I have I don want to lose the account but it seems like I don't need to worry about that :)
Make sure you get tracking. The sellers usually make you pay. Just cover yourself with tracking.
People keep saying this but I've never had such a problem. I've purchased probably a total of 10-12 used games from Gamefly and not once have I eve received a game appearing less than brand new. Given, I've never bought a game from them that was over a year or so old, so many I just get lucky because I don't buy 5 year old games that have gotten around.
They resurface to look new alot. Chips are fun.

Which description would be the best getting? I'm trying to order a really big CE, and would like one that is almost brand new, but can't decide on a condition.

Used - Like New
Fully playable game is included; downloadable content (DLC) or codes for online play may require additional purchase.

Used - Good

I would go with the Like New if the price is the same.

Always go for Like New when you can, they're usually in immaculate condition, and sometimes even new. Something I've noticed to avoid in Amz Warehouse purchases is to avoid the one that has a longer description, as it has more problems. I'd get the Like New one, or if that first Good is significantly cheaper, then get that one.

I would go for the used - good. Packaging damaged is usually the most desirable condition for CEs.

To me this one looks like the best choice as it seems to indicate packaging damage only.
Thanks for the response guys. They're all priced equally so I'll go with the like new as most of you stated.
lol 2 said Like New and 2 said get the Good with the damaged packaging

Technically counting himself, it would be the majority, lol.
Has anyone seen Mario go lower than this? I know these games usually hold their value really well. Should I pull the trigger? I enjoyed the demo.
I was able to get a Like New copy for $28.46 six days ago, so yeah, it's been lower.
lol 2 said Like New and 2 said get the Good with the damaged packaging
Lol I swear Dealseeker said Like New. Guess I might get the good one then. Just hoping it's a tear on the packaging which might be true.

Hmm... I've bought a mix of newer & older for PS3 & 360. I've probably bought 10 or so (don't ask me why I keep buying from them) and I think only 2 games have arrived without chips. The rest were so terrible that they shouldn't have been sold. It's weird too because the discs usually have no scratches; just a bunch of chips along the edges. I'm not even sure how someone could damage a disc in that fashion unless they were using it as a bowling ball on a concrete sidewalk.

im with you. I have never received a game from gamefly that I would rate less than a 9. Ive received some VG AWD games that I would have trouble rating a 3.

Holy cow. Were the chips minor enough so that they were at least playable? I've already heard everyone complain about chips but between myself and my friends who regularly order from GameFly, we've never had a single problem. As the person above me said, I've never received a disc I would rate under a 9.

You guys are probably extremely lucky. I've never received a game from Gamefly without noticeable scratching at the very least. Chips not as often but not a single disc that I would consider better than acceptable condition. Newness of the game has zero bearing on it. Could have came out six months ago or two years ago. The only reason I buy them at all is because their sales are pretty awesome, especially with coupons.

To my surprise, all of the games boot up to the title screen. They're all buried in my backlog though, so I haven't been able to play through beyond that.

Let me guess: Bioshock Infinite: Ultimate Songbird Edition?
Let me guess: Bioshock Infinite: Ultimate Songbird Edition?
Nope. Black Ops 2 Care Package :D I got the first one so I wanna complete the collection. Also been wanting that quad rotor for a while.
Let me guess: Bioshock Infinite: Ultimate Songbird Edition?
If your guess is correct, then he should go for the Good description as you suggested. Greater chance of DLC not being claimed since package was damaged (obviously no guarantees).

Ah yes that is one big CE. Lol! Wait till the Splinter Cell Blacklist Paladin Aircraft Edition arrives. That one is going to be massive.
Is Skyward Sword in LN condition with Music CD for $23.75 a good deal?
Yes, especially since it is out of print. First run copies were the only one with that bundle. That and the wii mote bundle are out of print now so I would definitely grab it.

Just got a Like New Tiger Woods Masters Historical Edition for 44.54 for PS3....must've fallen off the truck. Due to be shipped on the 19th.

Got my Uncharted (LN) and my Super Mario Galaxy (LN) today and both look great. Uncharted came in the red greatest hits box but Mario came in the original white, not a Nintendo selects! Score!

Lol I thought the skyrim ce was huge I saw this in store and laughed pretty hard at its size
Picked up Gears of War 3 for $6.75. I wished I hadn't sold it years ago. Six bucks was the right price to get it again.
I'd definitely pick it up for that price if I saw it myself.

Gears of War: Judgment is awful for TDM MP. I've given up on that game unless I find it real cheap somewhere else down the line. I'm going back to Gears 3 now.

I agree, loved every gears game before judgement. I just can't get into it like I did the others

It's pretty common still in all my local Best Buys and Walmarts .. and trust me, there are more than a handful of each store in my area. lol

That's generally what happens when you try to appeal to the casual crowd. You take an amazing series with excellent game play and run it straight into the ground. See Judgment for the ultimate example.

I guess I'm in the minority that actually enjoys Judgements mp to the others.

In my opinion, multiplayer wise:

Jugdement > 1 > 3 > anything > 2

2's was horrible and way worse than Judgement

I'm really bummed cause I'd say up until this year, half of my gaming time was tied up in Gears and the other half was playing through my backlog.

Then GoW: Judgment came out and Epic called and said #dealwithit.

I remember that I used to love playing GOW 2-3 MP with my friends. Apparently, I was a Good Luck Charm to them and we usually won our matches. Haha.

I agree with you on 2 being almost unplayable but judgment is not better than 3 or even 1

It wasn't in a GH box, but it's somewhat...odd in that it has both English and French written on the back for the description, there's a black "Not for Resale" stripe across the top of the front (not very big), and the UPC was apparently torn off and AWD (or the previous owner) saw fit to apply a white square sticker over it, which doesn't look too bad IMO. Thankfully it is Region 1 with the ESRB rating, so it's not like I got a UK copy or anything.

The LN copy of Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 I ordered also arrived with a similar white square sticker over the UPC on the back.

So that like new GOW PS3 came missing the slide cover to hold the game. It looks like someone threw the PS3 around and then traded it back into amazon. lol

Yikes! Will it even load games up? I know mine won't even spin when the cover is open. That being said I also wouldn't keep a PS3 like that :O lol

Don't know I wish I had the god of war games to play it. You'd figure a god of war bundle would come with the games not this bundle! This guy said I'm going to go against the norm and just send you a non working item! The amazon rep just said to send it back and that it was from a SELLER and not from them. What an asshole seller.

Got my like new Silent Hill: DOwnpour. It was brand new it seems wrapped and everything with a sticker on the wrapping not the case. Case was pristine as was the disc. :D

I guess Im in the minority then with Gears. 2 is still my favorite and I was in the top of the leaderboards before 3 had come out. After 2, judgment is my next fave. I couldnt stand part one and 3 was just there. I will admit getting Seriously 3.0 within the first 4 months of release may have burnt me out on 3 though. But I do love judgment. Dont see the hate for it. Feels like they fixed the mechanics. I love how you could drop over ledges and buildings now. But I do hate the sticky grenades, thats why I hated halo and now gears has it.

Yeah :( Fortunately Amazon is pretty good about sending stuff like that back. I can't believe it was listed as Like New :\

My guess is it's a trade-in that was a pack-in copy from a Canadian console bundle.

I believe some (if not all) of Canada requires both English and French documentation for games, including box text. And copies of games in console bundles (which Uncharted has been in) probably have the "not for resale" treatment?
