F.A.Q's

What is Amazon Warehouse Deals?
Warehouse Deals is part of amazon that has open box, generally like new items.

Is the Amazon Warehouse Deals return policy the same as Amazon's return policy?
Yes, All purchases are eligible for Amazon customer service and 30 day return policy.

I'm using the games sort by console link, and the games will not sort by price properly. What is wrong?
You aren't doing anything wrong, the sort by price feature on Amazon is broken

I'm waiting for a 360, ps3, 3ds, or PS Vita to pop up.. What time do they usually appear?
They can show up any time, the best way to find it is have the item tabbed on your browser, and download an auto refresh app and frequently check it... Sometimes they will not pop up on amazon warehouse deals storefront, you will need to check the "used" section of the item

Why did all the prices of games randomly jump up?
Games on warehouse deals generally go on a cycle. They will get extremely low, great deals.. Then they will jump back up and restart the cycle of falling in price again.

I have a gaming credit and/or an Amazon gift card. Can both of these be applied to Warehouse Deals orders?
Gift cards can be applied to orders made on warehouse deals, however video game credit is only good for items shipped and sold by "amazon.com", warehouse deals does not count as this.

What was Penny Deals?
In early September of 2011, tons of newer release, more expensive games popped up for 1 penny each. Many CAG members placed orders, expecting them to get cancelled. Some were cancelled, however many CAGS got a large amount of games for a penny each. There has been no confirmation what exactly happened and why these games were sold for a penny.

What condition are products from Warehouse Deals generally in?
Usually, games are re-shrinked wrap and almost in perfect condition. Any game i have personally ever bought has in like new condition. However, some people have reported that games were scratched with stickers on the insert. Consoles are also usually reported in like new or new condition with box damage. Rarely, a console may be missing a key component such as a power brick. Games listed in "acceptable" condition likely have very beaten up cases, or are missing cases, and are in not so great condition, but generally have a working game disc.

Here is an example of a like new handheld (PS Vita) - Thanks Slixshot

Got my "good" tomb raider today. It was also the Amazon pre order with the art book. Game was still sealed and there was just a small dent in the corner of the outer case housing the art book and game. Pretty awesome deal for $32. And I am enjoying the game so far.

Also eyeing Killzone 3. Is it worth the $8.50 if I'm only interested in the single player? Or should I just be holding out for the trilogy to drop in price (never played any of the series)

Edit: Meh, going for it anyways. Worst case I just sell it and likely break even. Thanks for the heads up on the deal, JakeM
Weird that a like new is $158 but the good is $198... Anyone with experience with the 3DS think it is worth an extra $60?
I will go for 3DS! $60 is too much, if you add more $35, you have two 3ds.
Luigis Mansion Dark Moon for $27.69 only two in stock, can't post link sorry.
I have been waiting for this to hit here for awhile. Picked it up with my Simpsons newest season :)

44.00 well spent :)

I had a 3DS, got rid of it, then tried a 3DSXL and love it. The screen size, in particular if you use the 3D, makes a difference. It isn't just about preference really, as much as I wanted to play the regular 3DS the size strained my eyes much more than the XL.
I have been debating getting a 3DS, but not sure if I should wait for a deal on an XL or not.
XL dude. All the way. The normal 3DS feels like junk. I got an XL a couple weeks ago and am blown away by how much better it is.

Agreed although my hand cramps up a bit when holding it if I play for more than an hour straight. Probably just me. Regardless I love playing some classics I hadnt played in ages. :D

I received my ME3 CE today and it came packaged as the other guys described it. I managed to get the tape off without doing any damage though. But this makes me wonder "Who thinks of these packaging ideas?"

Summary of recent deals:

- (LN) .hack//GU Rebirth and (LN) .hack//GU Reminisce were repackaged in generic black cases. They were complete and the disks, manual, and inserts and all were in great shape. I have a few spare PS2 cases laying around, so no big deal on them being repackaged.

- (LN) Metroid Prime Trilogy was in overall great shape and came with the slipcase and inserts. There was a cut through several pages on the manual though so I might dispute the Like New condition. I'm still very satisfied with the purchase.

- (LN) Tales of the Abyss came with the old color manual and in the original case. Everything inside looked great, really happy with this one.

- (LN) LOZ: Wind Waker came in one of the generic black cases. It did have the black label of the case art. Everything was inside and the disc was in great shape. Again, not really a big deal as I have extra cases laying around.

(LN) LOZ - Spirit Tracks came in great condition with only a small mark on the manual. Very satisfied with this purchase as well.

(LN) LOZ - Twilight Princess came perfect and in the launch box. Everything was inside and in great condition. Another very satisfied purchase.

I had no problems with stickers on anything I ordered. They all came off very easily and left no noticable residue.

This. I was hesitant at first, but the difference is absolutely worth the price.

They are cheaping out wherever they can. It should be in a sleeve to keep the contents from falling out, not tape. Never tape. Also, since it's not in a sleeve the metal casing ends up getting roughed up a bit before it even reaches the customer because it's exposed.

Agreed 100%

I agree that the XL will be better for most people, but I cannot agree that the original 3ds feels like junk. The original 3ds feels like a tank compared to the XL. The XL feels like a toy in comparison, but the screens look so incredible. The loose back cover is probably its biggest downfall. I agree with Stellar as well, my hands cramp up with the XL after 30min-1hr or so of gameplay, whereas I do not have this problem with the original 3DS.
